Chalet Joly was made all the more perfect on our 2nd visit by our host Robin who simply couldn't do any more to help. I traveled with my 8 year old daughter & we were met by Robin & helped to our room with suit cases etc. Located in Plagne Village - ski hire, ski school meeting place & nursery... More

Snow was touch and go but I was there St the end of march / end of season. Better conditions higher up. The lifts were very good, lots of areas to board, very big area. Stayed in La Plagne Soleil which was very quiet at night, very nice though. Quickish transfers to Chambery airport (terrible airport) compared to other resorts.... More

Went in January 2014, my partner skiing and me walking. I was expecting to see blizzard conditions but it was so warm the snow was melting and saw only a sprinkling of snow. The whole area is beautiful and good for those who don't ski to take long walks. The bars and restaurants serve good food and drink and the... More

La Plagne is an excellent resort and Le Mont Soleil apartments are in a fantastic location especially with children being ski in/ski out. We had the two bed apartment, excellent views, clean and tidy. Only down side of the stay was Crystal Ski - although we understand the weather conditions and volume of traffic stopped us from making our way... More

This is the fourth time we have gone to Belle Plagne. Great skiing especially for beginners .nice wide slopes and plenty of variety. Great for children new to skiing.

Great planning gone into the layout, with many hotels having ski in/ski out. Most of the shops are hidden so you just have to go exploring.

Stayed here in march 2015 and was really impressed. The choice of wide blue runs is great. It is perfect for intermediate skiers and I really enjoyed it. I would return and there are still new runs that I could try out. I have always went to Austria before which was a much better village atmosphere, however for skiing this... More

We stayed here for the first week in Easter 2015 with our two girls aged 5 and 7. The resort is perfect as a family resort. Very quiet in the late afternoon and evening. Great runs for all, masses of wide open blues. Very efficient lift system (we only queued to any degree once all week). In Plagne Soliel there... More
