This mosaic of different destinations offers a multitude of different ambiances and atmospheres that also reflect the changing architectural styles of winter sports resorts since 1961. Most of La Plagne’s villages were designed by architect Michel Bezançon.La Plagne is part of the Paradiski area and therefore is one of the large ski resorts and is also a family-friendly resort with adapted package offers.

Excellent family resort, plenty of good skiing, less hectic nightlife than Val Thorens or Val d'Isere

La Plagne has since many years combined with Les Arc into Paradiski, making it an excellent choice for a skiing holiday. I love it, and have been here every year since 1990. My preferred location is Belle Plagne, (which is in fact very beautiful, due to strict urban planning, - car-free,all cars parked underground, all appartments in rustic materials, all... More

Loads of good blue runs, excellent lift system but gets a bit slushy low down in the afternoon. Go to the glacier for spectacular views

We love the La Plagne ski area. It's vast and you rarely ski the same run twice. There are so many different areas to visit lunch can be taken in a different restaurant every day. The slopes are well groomed and a delight to explore. It's worth visiting Les Arc for a day provided you ski at a reasonable pace... More

We normally stay in Belle Plagne, but have skied over to La Plagne many time, but this was the first time to explore on foot. Theres lots of places to eat, and many bars. Didn't experience the center on an evening, but it seems a nice place to be, and I can imagine the apres ski can be great.

La Plagne has everything you want for a first class family skiing holiday. We stay at Belle Plagne, snow seems to be guaranteed! Even in lean years there is miles of varied skiing on and off piste. Glacier skiing and Les Arcs only a cable ride away, we have not had a family skiing holiday which has kept everyone happy... More

A good area for different levels of skiers. We were in a group of 36 ranging from beginners to expert and everyone found skiing to challenge them. All this was thanks to having an ESF guide/instructor

Excellent ski resort only let down by the few red runs and the excessive number of people on the slopes. The locals are very friendly however the resort is a little on the exorcise side. We came in March and the snow was melting faat with the ski conditions being almost unskiable after lunch as the site got really mushy.... More

We stayed plagne centre. Great large ski area but a few bottle necks and expensive lift pass. Mountain restaurants in general v v expensive but nice food. Shopping area in centre was nicer than expected. Enjoyed the bus/telemetro linking villages. La mine bar in 1800 was good with great live music. Open air pool in Bellecote ok but if yr... More

A very nice ski resort, but I reproach the saturation of the station : so many people located right in the same place at the same moment... We would have preferred our stay if the waiting hadn't been so long and boring !

Extensive ski area with easy access to Les Arcs via amazing cable car. Llift queues to/from Plagne Centre and Bellecote can be very busy. An almost non-existent apres ski scene.
