This mosaic of different destinations offers a multitude of different ambiances and atmospheres that also reflect the changing architectural styles of winter sports resorts since 1961. Most of La Plagne’s villages were designed by architect Michel Bezançon.La Plagne is part of the Paradiski area and therefore is one of the large ski resorts and is also a family-friendly resort with adapted package offers.

Nice resort, good selection of runs and plenty of Vin Chaud stops! Plenty of runs through the trees if the light is flat. An added bonus is that the resort links to Les Arcs opening up even more area to ski.

This whole area was ideal for all ski levels..plenty of blue runs, some challenging reds and blacks too. Although some of the ski lifts could do with up-dating as they are very slow!

This was our second trip to La Plagne and we weren't disappointed. We normally go to a different ski resort every year but decided to come back to La Plagne this year after having been there only last year. One of the reasons was that our 5 year old was going to be skiing properly this year, having had 6... More

The only thing La Plagne is missing is a better range of long, wide beginner greens and blues so those with a few weeks skiing can practice parallels. Some of the blues are more red than blue in part as well but plenty of snow at Easter and good transport links around the resort.

Many so called blue runs which in places could be red elsewhere. Enjoyable skiing with easily read piste map. On the hill restaurants of a good standard and, for France, not too expensive.

Our third time in La Plagne. You might imagine that we are boring skiers( we probably are!) but the extensive network of lifts and pistes suit us. We go to Obertauern and La Plagne each year- Obertauern because we like the Austrian hotels and après-ski. La Plagne because we like the longer runs and short lift queues. We stay on... More

La Plagne has since many years combined with Les Arc into Paradiski, making it an excellent choice for a skiing holiday. I love it, and have been here every year since 1990. My preferred location is Belle Plagne, (which is in fact very beautiful, due to strict urban planning, - car-free,all cars parked underground, all appartments in rustic materials, all... More

Loads of good blue runs, excellent lift system but gets a bit slushy low down in the afternoon. Go to the glacier for spectacular views

We love the La Plagne ski area. It's vast and you rarely ski the same run twice. There are so many different areas to visit lunch can be taken in a different restaurant every day. The slopes are well groomed and a delight to explore. It's worth visiting Les Arc for a day provided you ski at a reasonable pace... More
