This mosaic of different destinations offers a multitude of different ambiances and atmospheres that also reflect the changing architectural styles of winter sports resorts since 1961. Most of La Plagne’s villages were designed by architect Michel Bezançon.La Plagne is part of the Paradiski area and therefore is one of the large ski resorts and is also a family-friendly resort with adapted package offers.

Even though this season the snow in the Alps has struggled there is still plenty of skiing to be had because the guys working manage the snow well. The villages that make up La Plagne offer lots of other activities, restaurants and bars to fill the time outside skiing. There is a free shuttle bus service between the different villages... More

Came to La Plange last year (2015) and have just returned from my second visit. La Plagne and its satellite resorts is a brilliant ski area with something for everyone including families with Children.

Excellent resort but honestly don't think enough beginner slopes! Like me! To even get on the first ski lift the ski area is very steep and nowhere to practice first but for confident skiers etc it's a dream! Excellent bars and restaurants and lots of helpful staff around , extremely pretty too

Right in the middle with loads of runs available for all abilities. Lots of cafes if you want to stop for hot chocolate and lots of long runs if you don't.

La Plagne is a vast ski resort with interesting and varied levels of Pistes. Please keep beginners close as the pistes are not patrolled and you will encounter a lot of skiers either out of control or who just don't care! whist there we witnessed a number of collisions mainly caused by boarders. not withstanding the above, we had a... A lovely resort perfect for beginner and intermediate skiers. Lovely blue and red runs, very few blacks but there are still some dotted around for the adventurous. Snow was lacking whilst I was there but the pistes were still ski-able and I had an enjoyable time there.

What a great area to ski !!! Together with Les Arcs you have such a big area that even as a semi-professional skier you will only be able to ski 50% of available slopes and pistes after 6 days... great landscape, mountain tops and different ways to make it from top to bottom !

Lots of lovely wide blue runs with gorgeous views, some more challenging reds and blacks for the adventurous. Great resort for mixed ability groups. Stunning mountains. Efficiently designed resort. More about the ski than the apres-ski - though there are some decent bars if you look.
