My wife and me took our grandchildren, aged 12, 7 and 2 on this ride and they (and we) thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The ride is basically a a large push bike on an old train track. There are two routes, the route we took travels uphill for around 5km, turn around at the top and freewheel the 5km downhill.... More

This attraction was on our list of things to consider whilst on a recent 4 day break in Pas-de-Calais but if you go by the headline, you certainly won't find this in St Omer; Nielles-les-Blequin is a tiny place in the sticks approx 10 miles west of St Omer. Travelling on the Rando Rail is done in hourly start-times between... More

I couldn't help suspecting that this was mostly for families... However four oldies managed it as well. I admit it is a bit of a struggle heading west up the hill but the countryside is pretty (if a bit obscured by trees) and the run back down the hill exhilerating. Luckily we were alone i.e. had no youthful competition pressing... More

The drive from le Touquet to Rando Rail is about 45 minutes the scenery is beautiful. For just 24 Euros a cart we had great fun at Rando Rail. You pedal a carriage type thing along the a 10km track downhill, passing a kennels that breeds irish wold hounds and schnowzers we saw a lovley fluffy litter The kids sit... More

We had an excellent afternoon's fun at Rando Rail. Nice countryside to view and my kids (5 and 3) had a great time. The kids sit in a hammock type seat inbetween the adults so are nice and safe even when you are up to 20-25 mph (Although Health & Safety would never allow it in the UK!) You also... More

A great morning (or afternoon) for people of all ages - and a way to burn off a few of those excess holiday calories. Set in acres of rolling French countryside, Rando Rail consists of two distinct halves - an hour long pedal up a consistent slope following by a half-hour roller coaster ride back down hill. It may not... More

Visited Rando rail whilst staying in Le Touquet, it was about a 40min drive. Surrounding countryside is beautiful and very peaceful. The attraction is set on a disused railway line, you pedal a platform along the track, 2 people can pedal at the same time, the kids can sit on seats behind the pedelers. Two route options are available, 5km... More

We were staying in France for a week and found a leaflet adviertising this day out, as the weather was ok we thought we'd give it a go. I don't know where to begin! You get into a four person pedal cart which you have to pedal uphill for what seems like an eternity! I consider myself "middle-of-the-road" fit but... More

We have enjoyed Rando Rail twice this summer; first time with three other adults and the second time just me plus our 10 year old twin daughters. It has to be said that it's easier when there are four adults sharing the pedalling, as going uphill is pretty strenuous and the carts are heavy. Having said that, it really is... More

A pro-tip to begin with, you have to make a reservation for this. Even when your French is not that good, the staff is very helpfull and are prepared for tourists (they print out the safety rules out in English so even you can understand it!). A set of trains leave every hour (there are 2 routes), but you have... More
