This was my third class at Anika and my husband's first. Pickup was on time. Kuta Market is a typical Asian market with a fascinating range of produce and dry goods. The tour guide has worked in Melbourne and explained everything in excellent English, including the names of vegetables in different States and suitable substitutes in Australia if you can't... More

Everyone had a go on the Wok cooking something. Then we sat and ate, and ate, and ate. There was a truckload left... More

Hotel pick up was prompt and we were delivered safely to a morning market. Here we were escorted through the market and our guide presented and explained various fruits and herbs. It was very informative. The market itself was typically Balinese, dirty, smelly, unhygienic and cobwebs as big as a car. We were driven on to the cooking school. After... More

We did the morning glass which included a tour of the local markets then back to Anika for the actual cooking. Very hands on, we made everything from scratch. Hard work! But fun to do. I wouldn't recommend doing the tour of the markets as it did open your eyes a little to the conditions the food is sold in... More

Did the afternoon class with a friend and found it to be very informative in a relaxed environment. The useful information given about all the different vegetables, spices etc will come in handy. All staff were very friendly and the food was fantastic.
