I booked this after looking for activities to do while in Bali with my nearly 18 year old son. He was very keen to give this a go and I am glad we did. We were picked up promptly from our accommodation at 7am and taken to the markets where we met with others in our group to walk through... More

We were picked up promptly at 7am and did market tour as advertised. We were then taken to the school, where we sat and waited for the other nine people to join the class. There was no breakfast just waiting for over an hour for the class to start. There was a morning tea tasting of 3 Balinese sweets. The... More

A great experience for myself and 10yr old daughter. Wandered through the markets with our guide explaining the different fresh foods used in their cooking, also a bit about the Balanese culture. At the cooking class you learn how to cook around 7 dishes, all of them delicious. The whole team are wonderful helping us inspiring chefs along the journey.... More

Decided to treat family to an activity I really enjoyed when I frequented Bali. A cooking class with this much effort, education and food was a perfect way to bond with anyone you take or with just other people if you go solo. My tour guide was charming once again and the cooking class was full of great recipes and... More

Wow this was truely the highlight of our trip to Bali - from the market tour to our cooking demo. We choose this cooking class because we wanted to support the local people. Not only did we learn so much but we made some amazing and close friendships. Ive never seen my husband light up as much as he did.... More

My friend and I took part in this class and it was fantastic. The guide was very informative and took us through the markets before heading off to the cook school. We learned about the ingredients and had hands on experience from the chopping, grinding, cooking and eating. We are looking forward to cooking some of the lovely food at... More

People write 'OVERPRICED' dont take any notice of them , try and do a 6 hour cooking course in australia anywhere else for $70 , I dont think so! You visit the local... More

my sister and I recently did this class. We thought it was fantastic, from the moment we were picked up from the hotel. The staff were friendly and very chatty. We first went to a local market where our tour guide stopped at about 6 different stools and explained everything. I found it very interesting. We then headed to the... More

I attended the Anika Balinese Cooking class with a friend. I found it really interesting about the different ingredients used in Balinese cooking. We were given a book of information, with recipes. Everyone in the class chopped, stirred and assisted with the meal preparation We ate the food that we had helped prepare. I plan to cook the recipes at... More

It was fantastic learning how to cook Balinese food with knowledgeable chefs and real cooking demonstrations! First we went to a food market to see where Balinese people buy meat and produce. Then we went to Anika House, where we learned about the important Balinese ingredients that are in many dishes. We were given demonstrations and practice opportunities to learn... More
