Booked for myself and my daughter via the internet, nice and easy and had confirmation email fairly quickly. No money required untill the day. We were picked up from our hotel, taken to the local market, where we were shown around and the different spicec and vegetables were explained to us, and explained what they were used for, and what... My husband and I enrolled in the course to learn more on how to cook authentic dishes. the staff were great as we did the market tour and then the cooking class - we had a great group of class mates (none who we knew before class) We had a thoroughly great time preparing and cooking all the dishes. Finally... More

As a couple we enrolled in Anika Balinese Cooking Class during our visit to Bali. We were collected from our Villa by the cooking class and taken to the local markets in Kuta, after our tour of the markets which was very informative we made our way to the cooking school where we had some morning tea, during this time... My boyfriend (an ex chef) and I are massive foodies, so we thought we'd book ourselves in for a Balinese cooking class. It was some of the most fun I had while in Bali. We were picked up early in the morning for a tour of the traditional morning market in Kuta. It was fantastic to see we were the... More

I booked this after looking for activities to do while in Bali with my nearly 18 year old son. He was very keen to give this a go and I am glad we did. We were picked up promptly from our accommodation at 7am and taken to the markets where we met with others in our group to walk through... More

We were picked up promptly at 7am and did market tour as advertised. We were then taken to the school, where we sat and waited for the other nine people to join the class. There was no breakfast just waiting for over an hour for the class to start. There was a morning tea tasting of 3 Balinese sweets. The... More

A great experience for myself and 10yr old daughter. Wandered through the markets with our guide explaining the different fresh foods used in their cooking, also a bit about the Balanese culture. At the cooking class you learn how to cook around 7 dishes, all of them delicious. The whole team are wonderful helping us inspiring chefs along the journey.... More

Decided to treat family to an activity I really enjoyed when I frequented Bali. A cooking class with this much effort, education and food was a perfect way to bond with anyone you take or with just other people if you go solo. My tour guide was charming once again and the cooking class was full of great recipes and... More

Wow this was truely the highlight of our trip to Bali - from the market tour to our cooking demo. We choose this cooking class because we wanted to support the local people. Not only did we learn so much but we made some amazing and close friendships. Ive never seen my husband light up as much as he did.... More

My friend and I took part in this class and it was fantastic. The guide was very informative and took us through the markets before heading off to the cook school. We learned about the ingredients and had hands on experience from the chopping, grinding, cooking and eating. We are looking forward to cooking some of the lovely food at... More
