This tour was extremely interesting. We started off visiting the local market. It was very different from the normal Aussie market back home. It is a MUST SEE for anyone new to Bali or for those who have never experienced a Bali market. From there we went to the Anika Guest House where the cooking class is held. We certainly... More

What a fantastic experience. Picked up at 7am went to markets and got shown the local ingredients. What each looked like and western substitutes. Met some lovely people in the class and cooked 10 different dishes as a group. It was awesome. The chef (whose name escapes me sorry) was brilliant. He explained things really well and gave so many... More

Highly recommend anika cooking class. Very well organized. Food was delicious. Great fun. . The food market was a great start to the day. Helpful to understand the different ingredients used and substitutes when they were not available.

One of the best cooking classes I have experienced. The visit to the market was well worth it. The tutor knowledgable. We all got to get involved and produced 10 amazing dishes. Wish I room to go back for seconds! Definitely go!

We did this cooking class on one of our last few days in Bali and after eating so much Balinese food it was fantastic to see how it's made. The class started off with a local market tour where we were told about a lot of the common ingredients used in Balinese cooking and their various uses. We then went... More

I attended this class with my two sisters on the third day of our 2 week trip to Bali. We were picked up outside our villa in Seminyak at 7am. First on the adjenda was an educational tour of the local food market along with the 7 other class participants. Next we were driven to cooking school, which was a... More

WOW, that was just the best cooking experience I have ever had. The staff, instruction and ingredients were amazing and our end result was consumed with gusto. Well worth the money and we shall be back on our next visit to Bali 😀

I completed the Tuesday morning course with my 11 y/o son, who loves to cook. Collected from our hotel around 7am, to go to the morning local markets, and get a local insight to the local foods and customs (recommend taking a bottle of water with you, the smells can get a bit overwhelming if you're not used to it)...
