We really enjoyed this, but only saw a few buildings because exhaustion from a really fun day set in. On the upside, I feel like we learned a lot about Bermuda and got our money's worth. I don't know what we missed, but I don't know how much more my teenagers would have wanted to stay. The first area we... More

We decided to visit the NMB and it was really wonderful. This is an entire complex of historically significant exhibits and buildings in the old fort. Something for everyone here.

Go back in time, don't forget to visit the main building, down below, all the exhibits are awesome, walking around, seeing the canons, and the blue turquoise ocean.

The museum give a comprehensive history of Bermuda in several separate buildings. Up the hill there is the commissioners house which have multiple rooms of libraries and artifacts. You really need two days to look through everything if you are a History Buff like we are. We will visit again next time we are in Bermuda.

Despite paying full entrance, there seems not to be a seniors ticket, my visitor who walked with a stick and is frail, was unable to get up to the commissioners house. If there is a lift we did not find it and the person at the entrance did not give us any information. The slopes are both quite steep ramps... More

We got these coupons while on the cruise ship, and since we had nothing to do on sunday, decided to go. Wow, this is not to be missed! Set in an old fort, there is so much history here, PLUS dolphin Quest is here. We spent well over an hour watching them train the dolphins, and there is a charge... More

My hubbys first visit to the island and this was one of the highlights for him. Well kept and interesting place. Cost was reasonable to enter.

We were in Bermuda for 3 days on a cruise and had planned on the museum as a back-up activity for rain. Well guess what? We arrived in Bermuda and it started raining and the rain was pretty heavy for several hours. We got over our dissappointment and headed for the National Museum which is set in a fort and... More

We loved this! We had another activity get cancelled and with our free time we went to the dockyards and ended up at this historical site. We spent 3 hours wandering around and learning more about Bermuda's interesting history. We particularly enjoyed the defense stands, canons, and military history. There is also the dolphin quest activity here for families.

We stopped in this museum within the Royal Navel Dockyard as part of our cruise ship visit. It doesn't look too appealing from the outside and most folks walk by. That would be a mistake! The upper area includes the Commissioners "house" which is really a beautiful old Bermuda mansion with incredible views of the island. Inside there are numerous... More
