If you want to learn a lot about Bermuda's history then this is the place. Really well laid out exhibits in a lovely building. You can also go down and watch the dolphins for free. Well worth a visit.

The commissioners house is right up on the hill near the cruise ships. It is well worth the visit. There is so much on the history of bermuda in this building.Out back is a fort with old cannons and beautiful views of the harbor. Also a dolphin attraction.Well worth the 10$ admission charge for this gem

Lots of info about sailing, history and info about the island. My husband is a military history buff and he thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very informative museum, allow at least 2-3 hours to really enjoy it though. It's withing walking distance of Kings Wharf and was alot of fun to explore.

The fee is reasonable considering all the great stuff you get to see. We were in there a long time...and I think we only saw half of it. There are dozens of rooms filled with tons of history. It was a hot day though, so we tried to stick more to the air conditioned rooms! We got to see some... More

Just about the most interesting place we went to in Bermuda. Watch out for the sheep/goat droppings on the grass. The husband and I spent about 3.5 hours there and still didn't see everything. Stay with your group in the commissioner's house as we saw lost people -the house is a labrynth!

When we visited Bermuda, the weather wasn't the most pleasant as we had high, gusty winds and scattered rain with overcast sky. Since the wind made a beach day a most unpleasant experience, we visited the Maritime Museum and wandered the grounds for hours. There is a $10 entrance fee that opens up the entire area: the Commissioner's House and... More

This museum is packed full of Bermuda history, military and otherwise. Climb on the ramparts, go down into the ammunition storage (and learn about the history of prisoners in Bermuda), imagine living in the Commissioner's House...well worth a visit.

Museum provides a wonderful history of early Bermuda culture. Would have like the movie to have been working when we were there. Beautiful views!
