The main exhibits are in one building (Commissioner's house) with some other exhibits scattered in smaller, older buildings (these exhibits as another reviewer pointed out are more rundown and dusty). I would agree it's definitely boring for small kids and probably not at the top of the list to visit if you aren't a history buff. The grounds in the... more

This will be the highlight of any history buff's trip to Bermuda. The centrepiece is the house at the top (sorry, I forgot the name!), which houses galleries relating to Bermuda's history, people, the U.S. Navy, and examples of Bermuda's currency among other things. I went to the Maritime Museum because thats where the Dolphin Quest is located. My girlfriend wanted to swim with the Dolphins. We walked in and asked the lady where we needed to go to see the Dolphin Quest. She VERY RUDELY told us to pickup the phone on the wall and call them, that she has nothing to do... more

The guide book I brought with me to Bermuda warned of "rather tired displays" at this attraction--and I have to agree!! While the island history is interesting and very rich, schlepping through these buildings with a toddler in a stroller was not as much fun as I had hoped.
