Not a bad time, but a sunset cruise that ended way before sunset. Captain Nathan and mate were very nice. We laughed at removing our shoes (we do that on our boat) only because of the condition of the deck. The boat could use a little rehab including some decent cushions. There were some older folks on board who looked... More

Sorry that the cruise was just OK for these guests. As they mention, we like they are generally a shoeless boat, in special cases or by request we allow them with no fuss. Our decks are pure teak and in good shape. The entire boat was re cushioned last year with old fashion Caribbean fabric and faux ostrich and emoo... More

This was a 2 hour, private, sunset cruise. We sailed straight out for one hour, came about, sailed straight back for one hour. The boat was dirty, we were offered wine but had only couple beers. The first mate was below deck (we thought he was preparing a snack for us) cleaning the galley and eating. No snack offered. My... More

I am sad to read this review. Seemed like a perfectly nice outing to me, the wind was appropriate to sail way out to the north channel which give big views of all the the northern side of the isle. The beam reach in both directions is the best point of sail. My crew person was certainly at the ready... More

The cruise on Ana Luna was an unforgettable experience not to be missed while visiting Bermuda. Everything is so expensive yet this trip proved to be great value for money, with cheese and crackers and champagne toast to finish off. The views from the sea are spectacular and the captain is very engaging, knowledgable and eager to please. I thoroughly... More

The sunset cruise on The Ana Luna was just an average boat ride on the ocean. There was nothing spectacular about the experience. The boat was nice and although the captain seemed knowledgeable, he really didn't seem all that social. The choice of music (Madonna Erotica) wasn't the best as there were children on the boat. For the $70.00 price,... More

I am puzzled with this review. The guest did not come out on a mere sunset cruise, it was a biolumenesent glow worms viewing, which happens only two days per month and cannot be seen from just any beach with a bottle of wine. The sailing views not just the sunset and it's aftermath which we have named sky blue... More

My family and I went for a snorkeling trip with Ana Luna Adventures and had a wonderful time! The captain and crew (Ryan and Ashling) were wonderful hosts. We had several young children with us who all enjoyed the trip. We got to go snorkeling. Ryan was so nice to my little boy while snorkeling! I enjoyed relaxing on board... More

Hi Nathan and Debbie, Just thought I'd do a bit of a search for the Ana Luna, and here you are!! What terrific pictures! Such a shame we didn't get the chance to go for a sail on Saturday. The raging storm that dissipated before your eyes on the radar screen upset our plans. It was lovely to meet you... More

Hi Tina Thanks for the kinds note, sorry the weather was a bit iffy for you and Ian. We did take out many of the group and had a fine time on more forgiving seas. Hope you come back soon and often and when you do be sure to hop on and sail away! Best Regards Natan & Debbie More

The Ana Luna sails from pier at Blue Hole Water Sports on the Grotto Bay complex. It sails only if they meet their head count of six. Our head-count was only two. This decision was communicated 45 minutes prior to departure. So we are left standing on the pier after traveling across the island. The captain was not even there... More

Would like to apologize again to this guest. He did travel from the other end of the island to sail on Ana Luna but due to 'phone tag' and missed emails he did not get my message that we did not have the minimum number of guests to do the sailing and was 'left stranded'. I did call ahead to... More

Captain Nathan and his mate Ryan made our stay in Bermuda AMAZING. Our sunset cruise was easily reserved for a Thursday. There were about a dozen passengers. They served light snacks and wine and beer was available by the glass or bottle. $6-$8 I think. We left promptly from the dock at Grotto Bay Resort at 5:45 pm and headed out through the swing bridge. That was really something to see from... More

Very nice and clean catamaran! Fantastic captain and first mate! The both gave us lots of history about the island and the snorkeling was great! Beautiful weather made it a perfect day! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cruise around the island! Thanks Capt Nathan and Ryan!!!

Have to agree with on one comment on your review. Captain Nathan is obviously lacking in the communication department. We just returned from a 4 night stay at Grotto Bay. While we had a phenomenal vacation and were highly satisfied with the hotel, I am quite bitter and disappointed about our planned cruise. Upon arrival at the resort the concierge booked us on the 3 hour afternoon cruise for Sunday May 24th. Well that morning, looking out at the dock, I said to my wife that I find it strange that the Ana Luna isn't there, as it had been every prior morning during our stay. Later that afternoon, we get to the dock, and there is no Ana Luna to be found. When I called up to the concierge desk they said, "oh yeah, we just found out that Capt. Nathan had booked a private party for the afternoon and failed to inform us." I'm not sure who I am more upset with, Capt. Nathan for his lack of communication, or the concierge desk for leaving us hanging. If we hadn't returned to the concierge desk, they clearly had no intention of telling us there was a snafu. The concierge was apologetic, but in such a situation wouldn't you think the hotel would try to do something to make it up to us ? Ie. Free drinks, a free ride in one of the exorbitantly- priced Bermuda taxis etc. well, there was NOTHING ! we had planned our day around this cruise and got nothin'! Thanks Capt. Nate.

Your comment about the Grotto Bay water is just plain crazy. The water was crystal clear and gorgeous. The beach is no Horshoe Bay or Jobson's Bay, but there were definitely some benefits to being on the calmer bay. And let's be real ... The airplanes were NO ISSUE.
