We recently had the pleasure of sailing aboard the Ana Luna and couldn't be happier with the adventure! We were aboard with six adults and six young children so it was a busy scene but Captain Nathan and his mate Steve were very accommodating. We sailed for a bit then anchored up in a sheltered spot to swim. I look... More

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon at sea on the Ana Luna. Thanks to Captain Nathan and Steve for the delicious sorrel drinks - tailored to our taste - and for the closing champagne! The boat was in great condition and well kept, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed lazing around while chatting on the 'trampolines' while we sailed as much as... More

Had a lovely and chilled afternoon with Captain Nathan & Steve, they were totally flexible and asked what we wanted to do, so they could tailor our trip. We'd heard about snorkelling over ship wrecks, so they took us to a wreck near Grotto Bay and then onto Whalebone Bay, where we saw a huge array of marine life. Fabulous... More

Really enjoyed the afternoon cruise to Bailey's Bay with Captain Nathan and the snorkel round the island guided by Steve. The coffee and cake after the swim went down well and the bubbly at the end of the cruise was a nice touch.

Great to hear that the sail on Ana Luna was the highlite of your trip! You are not alone. About half of our guests are repeat enthusiasts, some has cruised Ana Luna as many as ten times, several are private groups who come out several times every year. The sailing experience is big and bold, takes you away from the... More

Not a bad time, but a sunset cruise that ended way before sunset. Captain Nathan and mate were very nice. We laughed at removing our shoes (we do that on our boat) only because of the condition of the deck. The boat could use a little rehab including some decent cushions. There were some older folks on board who looked... More

Sorry that the cruise was just OK for these guests. As they mention, we like they are generally a shoeless boat, in special cases or by request we allow them with no fuss. Our decks are pure teak and in good shape. The entire boat was re cushioned last year with old fashion Caribbean fabric and faux ostrich and emoo... More

This was a 2 hour, private, sunset cruise. We sailed straight out for one hour, came about, sailed straight back for one hour. The boat was dirty, we were offered wine but had only couple beers. The first mate was below deck (we thought he was preparing a snack for us) cleaning the galley and eating. No snack offered. My... More

I am sad to read this review. Seemed like a perfectly nice outing to me, the wind was appropriate to sail way out to the north channel which give big views of all the the northern side of the isle. The beam reach in both directions is the best point of sail. My crew person was certainly at the ready... More

The cruise on Ana Luna was an unforgettable experience not to be missed while visiting Bermuda. Everything is so expensive yet this trip proved to be great value for money, with cheese and crackers and champagne toast to finish off. The views from the sea are spectacular and the captain is very engaging, knowledgable and eager to please. I thoroughly... More

The sunset cruise on The Ana Luna was just an average boat ride on the ocean. There was nothing spectacular about the experience. The boat was nice and although the captain seemed knowledgeable, he really didn't seem all that social. The choice of music (Madonna Erotica) wasn't the best as there were children on the boat. For the $70.00 price,... More

I am puzzled with this review. The guest did not come out on a mere sunset cruise, it was a biolumenesent glow worms viewing, which happens only two days per month and cannot be seen from just any beach with a bottle of wine. The sailing views not just the sunset and it's aftermath which we have named sky blue... More

Have to agree with on one comment on your review. Captain Nathan is obviously lacking in the communication department. We just returned from a 4 night stay at Grotto Bay. While we had a phenomenal vacation and were highly satisfied with the hotel, I am quite bitter and disappointed about our planned cruise. Upon arrival at the resort the concierge booked us on the 3 hour afternoon cruise for Sunday May 24th. Well that morning, looking out at the dock, I said to my wife that I find it strange that the Ana Luna isn't there, as it had been every prior morning during our stay. Later that afternoon, we get to the dock, and there is no Ana Luna to be found. When I called up to the concierge desk they said, "oh yeah, we just found out that Capt. Nathan had booked a private party for the afternoon and failed to inform us." I'm not sure who I am more upset with, Capt. Nathan for his lack of communication, or the concierge desk for leaving us hanging. If we hadn't returned to the concierge desk, they clearly had no intention of telling us there was a snafu. The concierge was apologetic, but in such a situation wouldn't you think the hotel would try to do something to make it up to us ? Ie. Free drinks, a free ride in one of the exorbitantly- priced Bermuda taxis etc. well, there was NOTHING ! we had planned our day around this cruise and got nothin'! Thanks Capt. Nate.

Your comment about the Grotto Bay water is just plain crazy. The water was crystal clear and gorgeous. The beach is no Horshoe Bay or Jobson's Bay, but there were definitely some benefits to being on the calmer bay. And let's be real ... The airplanes were NO ISSUE.
