This may not be the pink sand of the South shore beaches but if you have small children then this is a safe bet for a half day entertainment. The playground is of reasonable size and there is a grassy area dpfor ball games or team games. Then the beach itself is gently sloping so plenty of space - can... More

beautiful unspoilt beach - loved the dockyard, and Hamilton, St Georges - the staff and food at Grotto Bay was second to none. The taxi driver Bailey and Jimmy Bailey were excellent and helped to get us around the island, despite the hurricane the previous day Cannot fault the location and helpfulness, friendliness of the staff, beach was cleared and... Small, secluded beach where you can swim or snorkel with tropical fish. Very beautiful, tranquil. The water is extremely warm, particularly because you can go a few hundred meters from the beach and still be up to waste deep. It's West facing so y can enjoy the warmth until the sunset. Perfect for a romantic roundevous...

Such a sense of privacy by beautiful blue water, and white sand! Umbrellas, chairs and towels are provided. I listened to music and watched TV shows, while getting a tan!

gently sloping beach, morning shade from trees, calm waters and an adventure playground makes this location an excellent morning beach to visit in the morning.

Shelly Bay was not quite what I expected. The beach was dirty with garbage and broken glass which made me nervous to walk in the water. I was surprised that this was so disgusting. The only beach on my entire trip that I would not recommend to anyone. Although, there was a nice playground - just not the beach. :)
