If you are looking for a less crowded beach that is not along the famous south shore of Bermuda, this may be the place for you. There are some big buildings (which I believe some of which were hotels) along the sides of the bay, but that doesn't seem to impact the lower level of people on this beach.

We visited last week when our cruise ship was in port (not the only one there), and our fellow passengers were saying all the beaches were so crowded. But not so Shelly Bay! It is an absolutely gorgeous beach, and the full crowd when we visited was 4 people. Apparently, some guidebooks say that it has facilities and rentals available,... More

Another beautiful pink sand beach for which Bermuda is known. The colors of the sky and water were breathtaking. Many photo opportunities. Highly recommend

Lovely beach. Great location to watch the sunset and there are bus stops very close by going in both directions.

I could not get over the fact that it was so calm. You could just sit and enjoy the "Zen" feel. A great place to just float away!! We were looking for parrot fish, however did not find them in this area.

I really liked this beach and playground. It was too cold to swim when we went but my 2 year old niece loved the playground. The beach was great to walk on even if it was too cold to swim. There was also a place to exercise, and a large field as well! I will definitely go back if I... More

A good place for families with the play park behind, but if you love to swim, not snorkel but properly swim, this beach is amazing! It's usually relatively calm due to the sheltered bay and the depth is between 4 & 5 feet for hundreds of yards! If you want a real good swim this beach is fantastic! It does... More

Nice beach that is very accessible by bus. It is nice and shallow and it is usually very calm. There is a nice playground there, however, there are not any amenities i.e. changing room, restaurant etc.

Bang on a reliable & frequent bus route. Nothing to dislike but bring some food with you if there for the day as there are no cafe's or shops close by Other than that, just enjoy !!!

A great little family beach on the North Shore. You can walk out a long way before it gets too deep. There is a kids playground near by and a Cricket Pitch as well so there always seems to be a lot of activity on weekends with picnics and family gatherings. A little quieter during the week. A great little... More
