A surprisingly nice zoo where you can easily spend the whole day. The animal enclosures are big compared to average and there are many interesting animals. The dolphins show is quite OK. Our kids liked it very much. Only setback is that the animal feeding times announced were consistently not met and you would often need to hang around for... More

Setting aside the well-documented controversy/tragedy with their dolphins, this zoo is a worthwhile visit for children and adults. The animals appear to be kept in a reasonably good environment, and the variety is excellent. Also very stroller friendly. Lastly, there is a very good playground. We visited the park 7-9pm which worked well - enough time to do the rounds,... More

Of all the zoos i have been to (which is a lot) this would be my favourite as it literally has everything. The dolphin show was incredible and well worth a watch, the staff have what appears to be a beautiful friendship with the animals. The open lemur park is amazing where all the friendly lemurs approach you for attention... More

We went here with a certain trepidation as there were lost of positive reviews from local people but not from tourists. Quite simply we had a really good time. We got to see lots of animals very closely unlike many other zoos. There was a good range from the lions and rhinos to the wolves and meerkats. Some of the... More

The zoo isn't layed out badly, and it appears to have a wide variety of animals. Too bad you can't see any of them because they are as hot as you are and are hiding under whatever little shade they can find. The zoo also suffers from a lack of shade or even fans (much less A/C) to protect the... More

Really nice zoo with many species. A really nice walk for the whole family. Ask for the feeding programm so that you can see how people feed some animals (Don't miss bears!!!). There are some discount on prices for families and groups. Also, there's an extra ticket to see dolphins, which are amazing! Those dolphins are raised in the zoo... More

i have been many times with my family at the attica zoo. I understand the price per person is a bit expensive however with a member card for a whole year u save up a lot and its a bargain for families who will visit the park more than 3 times in a year. the place is clean, well maintained,... I was quite impressed by a number of the exhibits and saw some lovely species that I have rarely seen in zoos before (Secretary birds, Fennec Fox etc). The mixed White Rhino / Cheetah exhibit was well done and good to see, though being from the UK I always get a little wary when I see no public barriers to... More

Even though my children are teenagers now they still ask for a vist to the zoo once a year. There is a great variety of animals in well kept enclosures. The best time to visit is in the late afternoon of an not too hot week day. This is good for many reasons. It is not crowded , the animals... More
