Great environment for the entire family. Lot's of places to eat and shop. Highly recommend the two meat markets Hamm's Custom Meats and Local Yocal Farm to Market. Love to eat at Rick's, however, almost every restaurant on the square is great.

Town Square is an interesting collection of history, shops and restaurants. During the Christmas Holidays there are Carolers in costume strolling the Square.

Love this little town, filled with unique shops and restaurants. It's an absolute "no miss" if you are in the north Texas area. There are benches and rocking chairs in the streets to sit and people/pet watch. Everyone is friendly and it gives one a warm, contented feeling just being there!

This little town square has quite an ecclectic variety of eateries and mom-and-pop shopping for it's little bitty size. Restaurant choices abound including Rick's Chop House (pricey but excellent steak house!), Cajun (Bayou Jack's), Tex-Mex/Americana (Spoons Cafe), American comfort (The Pantry, Snug On The Square, The Square Burger-great beer selection, Louisianna Bar and Grill-off square but close with a good... The town square is really nice and well maintained and has a large selection of stores and restaurants. There is plenty there to keep every one occupied. Make sure you hit the side streets as well. Don't miss the Star Wars store. Only fault is the parking, not enough of it.

Love to wander around the square in McKinney. It has many places to eat and shops of all kinds. We try to go there every time we come to McKinney to visit relatives.

This is just such a lovely little town oozing with charm! If it was not so far to the University of North Texas we would move here in a second! The Christmas decorations are right out of Southern Living Magazine!

The historic downtown square in McKinney has a wonderful variety of wine shops plus fun boutiques and restaurants. I had shopped there years ago and want to return to discover more.
