Interesting town and a bit of a step back in time, walk around you really can't get lost and there is a lot of interesting shops.

Had a Sunday breakfast and walked around to window shop. Stores don't open until 12pm on Sundays, so don't plan an early visit. We highly recommend the candy store! Free flavored popcorn and a lot of different candies for everyone's taste.

We have been here many times with and without kiddos. It's always a lot of fun unless it's just really hot outside. Even then, plenty of the shops are happy to have you come in and enjoy some air conditioning while you browse around. There are many choices of restaurants. There are also a variety of eclectic shops from clothing... More

Lots of choices for lunch, dinner or snacks. Plenty of shops to look around in. We ate at Bayou Jacks and sat outside on a delightful evening. Service could have been faster, but the food was very good and reasonably priced.

I have traveled to 185 of the 254 counties in Texas and this is one of the best. Great town square with many great restaurants of all types-fancy to casual. Wonderful on weekends with many having live music.

This is an awesome place to hang out, shopping and food all in the same place. There are antique shops, clothing, foodie and even a winter ski shop, if you like eating then this is the place as well.

The McKinney square has just about everything to do in order to have a fun filled day. From shopping the small clothing shops to having your boots repaired to eating some great food. The best place on the square to eat is Gregory's on Virginia. The food is fabulous. If you don't mind standing in line to give your food... More
