Maybe you have to be a Prada shopper to understand what's going on here. It seems like an extensive practical joke, but you need to be "in the know". It certainly makes you "think" ... but not sure of what other than "why"? A picture says it all; you don't really need to experience it.

Prada Marfa is in the middle of nowhere, but it is worth the drive to see it at sunset. I can die happy, now that I have seen in in person.

Well if you are in the greater Marfa metro area, you just have to stop. This is one of those drive by, must do, things! We visited on our way from Marfa to Fort Davis, no not really "on the way". But, we pulled over for the mandatory photo op, backtracked a few miles towards Marfa, then cut the corner... More

Very humorous if only to see others' expressions when they pull up. worth the trip, especially of a train is going by.

This is kitschy cool and is the BEST art around Marfa. Well worth the 30 minute drive past Marfa, just past Valentine, where all the cars are. Amazing, we thought we would be the only ones out there, but there was a steady stream of friendly people, flocking to see this. Well worth the drive if you are in the... More

We arrived at Prada Marfa about an hour before sunset and snapped a few photos. Then another photographer came up with about 5 models and some stylists and proceeded to take over the location through sunset. I was able to get a few photos as soon as they left. The building apparently had been recently restored after being vandalized and... More

If your driving through the area stop by and get a picture. It's unique to see such a large piece of art against the stark Texas land scape.

Prada Marfa is actually a mile or so west of Valentine, Texas, on US 90, a enigmatic and solitary monument to materialism, starkly set roadside in the middle of nothing. Despite its isolation, it just might be the most-photographed spot in Texas. If you like selfies, this is a must to add to your collection. But that's about it. All... More

Prada Marfa is located 20 mi from Van Horn. So if you just want to see and photograph this you can venture off I-10 and the return in about an 1 or so depending on how long you are taking photos, Cool place to visit.
