The new tasting room is lovely and first rate. We sat down and with our tasting which was $10 each, we could have the whites or reds, so each took one and were given 6 samples to try. The samples were generous and served with toasted cracker pieces, pitcher of water and dark chocolate to go with the Port sample.... More

One of the highlights of our short vacation to Austin! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Many nice wines from their own vineyard as well as from grapes grown elsewhere in Texas. No fee to browse, but pop for the tour - sample all of the wines, get a look inside the history of Flat Creek, what goes on behind the scenes,... More

This was our second trip to Flat Creek Estate Winery. The grounds are very nice. There is a covered pavillion, and adjacent to the winery, there is a patio and bistro. We have never eaten at the bistro, but really liked the patio, since we had our small dog with us. The inside is very nice with barreled tables and... More

We went here with another couple to kill time, even though I was the only wine drinker among us. My sister-in-law, who does not drink, ended u tasting the wines with me and even buying a couple of bottles. I tasted all of the dry wines and asked, if I could try more dries rather than moving on to their... More

We went to the Bistro for lunch/brunch and did the wine tasting after, and we had a great time! We were seated right away, and we received excellent service. I got a pizza, and while the flavor was good, it was a little burned and crispy. My friend got the eggs benedict, and she loved it. After we ate, we... More

Went for a bachelorette party and were greeted at the door with lots of questions. The hostess/waitress did not believe we were the party that called in! Set the bottles of wine on our table but never poured them and got mad at us when we poured our own wine. As a large bachelorette party we were not drunk and... More

I am so sorry about your experience when you visited on Saturday. I agree, we were not at our best that afternoon. With icy roads and wintry weather, our guests were typically arriving late and with changes in party size. We couldn’t seem to adapt quickly and confidently in selecting restaurant seating. Confusion regarding group size & seating, flowers, and... More

Texas received some yucky weather, so we decided to take a few country roads and ended up at a beautiful vineyard to turn and ugly day into a great day for a couple to spend together. We ended up trying the bistro first. Pleasantly surprised to find a variety of good foods listed on the menu and wine pairings listed... More

We combined our recent visit to the Flat Creek restaurant with a wine tasting. The setting, first of all, is very pleasant, a little less than an hour outside of Austin. The beautiful location, in rolling hills and surrounded by the vinyard, is worth the visit. The wine tasting was excellent, run by the co-owner, who is a lot of... More

My husband and I visited Flat Creek on a grey Saturday in November. We had pre-booked the winery tour & tasting at around $17 per person. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. We went straight in to the wine tasting, joining a group of approximately 12 in total. We tried approximately 8 different wines, some made from grapes grown... More

We have a membership in their wine club, and it was time to pick up our shipment. We invited another couple to go with us since they were unfamiliar with Flat Creek. We did the wine tasting first and enjoyed the new wines in our shipment. The server was so knowledgeable about all things wine and did a great job... More
