Friendly and knowledge staff. The tour included an exhibit of how the barrels are made, storage facility, bottling and chemist room. There many types of wines to chose from for the 5 samples to taste.Best of all the tour and tasting were complimentary. Several of the wines are labeled to support Texas Tech. Worth the stop for this Red Raider... More

My husband and I were on our way home from Lubbock and decided to stop at the Llano winery. It had been several years since we'd been there, but I've enjoyed their wines for a long time. It was wonderful being able to taste some of their wines that I'm not able to find at the store. Even my husband,... More

My husband and I stopped here on our way up to Canyon, TX. We had a lovely tour and enjoyed seeing the chemist's room and the vats and barrels. The tasting was the best part - as to be expected. The young man who led our tour was a great help with details and suggestions and we will be back... More

We recently moved closeby and decided to check this place out. The outside isn't very pretty/impressive, but it's worth the trip. The tour is nice and informative. The tasting is complementary; they let you taste 5 generous samples of any of their wines. The wines themselves are moderately priced ($10-$35). The staff is all very friendly! Also, they have a... We had a half hour to burn and stoppedhere to do a tasting. We did not do a full tour but it was still worth it. The wines are very good and the staff makes excellent recommendations. If we are ever in the area again we will do the full tour.

We arrived at the winery just in time for the last tour of the day. Garrett escorted us thru the different exhibits and answered all of our questions. We especially enjoyed the information on the barrel and cork making procedures. In the wine tasting area we were given an informative hand-out of details about each of the wines they produce... More

We stopped at this winery on a Sunday afternoon as we were traveling through Texas. What a great surprise! We were greeted by Mike (the college student - not the manager), who immediately took us on an abbreviated tour (there was another function at the winery at the time, so we were unable to take the full tour). I can't... More

Some very nice wines. Great testings and a cute gift shop. This is you only time you will be able to get Texas Tech made wines. Stock up if you like TT wines. They box up and package your purchases very well. I bought several wines and some glasses and nothing broke by the time I got home.

I am an educated wine drinker. I decided to visit and give Texas wines a try while visiting TTU. The tasting room was pleasant and the servers were nice and friendly, but not especially knowledgeable about wine. I tasted through many of their wines--they were OK--I would give them scores of 85-88. I bought a couple of bottles of their... More
