Joyland has become a yearly stop for the family and I. We always have a great time. It's small but that has it's advantages. It's easy to walk the entire thing and ride what you want and no long lines. Don't expect six flags but it's a good time.

This was deffinetly the strangest amusment park I have ever been to! It was a fairly normal "for kids" park, no rides big enough for me. But my kids loved it, the strange thing was all the Aumish people there. Not that I have anything against any religion or way of life, but it felt pretty culty. But my son... More

My wife and I always take our grandkids here during the summer for a fun time. They enjoy the rides as well as the refreshments that are available. Joyland has been in Lubbock for as long as I can remember. Good clean enjoyable fun!

This was our first visit and we have 2 teenagers. We paid for the $20.00 wrist bands for them, while my husband and I paid $5 for general admission since we didn't plan on riding. The rides were typical carnival rides, but the kids loved them (and much cheaper than going to a carnival or fair.) They have some thrill... More

We took our 3 year old son and went with my in-laws and our 15-year-old niece. We all had a great time. There was plenty of rides for our son to go on and we rode several two or three times. We enjoyed their concession stand too. For months afterward our son would point "the big water slide" out to... More

This place is ok to bring the kids but once year is plenty. It's small and it must take a lot to keep it running for the price they charge. You can do the entire park in a couple of hours probably twice!

We LOVE Joyland! Profanity and vulgar clothing are NOT allowed. There is no alcohol and smoking in designated areas only. All of these features ARE enforced. The staff does an excellent job safeguarding the riders!

Could be better. You would think a city of Lubbock's size it would have a better amusement park. This is something to do with the kids, but it won't take up a whole day as the park is very small and rides are on the carnival side.

As the mom of a (then) 3 yr old little girl, I had a blast and so did she. She wanted to do every ride. She thought the bumper cars were hilarious. I could tell she thought we were crazy for running into each other on purpose. She wanted to sit on every animal on the merry-go-round. The only time... More
