Experiments and exhibits across three floors that can keep you busy for hours! There's even a special place for children under 5 to play. Our daughter just learned to crawl and loved scooting around in a little gated area specifically for the pre-walking population here. Our group spanned 3 generations and EVERYBODY had a good time. It's worth the price... More

We visit the Science Spectrum several times a year. There are always special themed events that they put on throughout the year. This past weekend was the Dental Fair. They have several local dentists offices that set up booths & hand out prizes, toothbrushes, literature, etc. They will even check your kids teeth for free. Some of the other events throughout... This is a great place to entertain kids for a few hours, if not more, easily. Fun and educational. Our family has been going since our oldest was a toddler - he's now 6 and still often chooses to go here over other places. We also all enjoy their special events (e.g., Critter Fest and Halloween Carnival) - they do... More

My boyfriend and I visited Lubbock simply because the city was in the middle of our long distance relationship. We decided to visit the science museum and OMNI theater because it was in our guidebook (check the Lubbock guidebook for a coupon!). We saw The Unseen World in the OMNI theater and we both thought it was amazing! The screen... More

Science spectrum is a great place to bring toddlers and elementary aged kids. I would give it a 5 for the wonderful service it provides our community, but the exhibits are a little dated. However, there is plenty to play around with and they are working to revamp some of the main exhibit space. They also hold great events at... More

Here is a place where kids (and some adults) can have hands on learning. They upgraded the second level and transformation exceeded expectations. However, it would be for them to upgrade the lower level. There is plenty of room to add more.
