While some exhibits and areas are somewhat dated, overall the museum was interesting and fun. The main draw seemed to be the IMAX theater and movies, but we didn have time to see anything. We took our 1 year-old and there was 1 particular area for him to play, but many play areas appealed to him.

We saw a movie/presentation at their Omni Theater. I grew up going to the Omni in Fort Worth, so it was nostalgic to see that this one is so similar. We were there for the last showing of the evening. It was sparsely attended and the staff didn't seem excited to have to stick around, but that didn't take away... More

The best part of this museum is the IMAX theater. Overall, the facility is small, and every time I go, seems to be in some state of renovation or repair. There are hands-on exhibits for smaller children.

We are from a larger TX city and while ours is newer, this Children's museum is superior as far as learning installations. We were pleasantly surprised and will be back on our subsequent trips to Lubbock. The movies were great too!

Great place to go and see a round movie to get the feel that you are their, or ride a rollercoaster at the fair, or see marine life as if you were their. They also have displays in the back at certain times. Great place to spend so great time.

Three floors of science fun for all ages. My two year old really enjoyed making large bubbles and there is a under 5 play area complete with water table, a grocery store, a music room, and a veterinarian where the kids examine stuffed animals and review xrays. It is really cute. On a cold or rainy day a great place... More

They have an IMAX theatre there and they play a lot of documentaries and discovery shows. Not to expensive to get in and also has a lot for kids to do.

I used to go here years ago when I lived in Lubbock. It's still a great place....lots of fun. Took my kids this time and my daughter really enjoyed it.

We always enjoy a visit to the Science Spectrum/Omnimax. My boys love the exhibits, and I enjoy the films at the Omnimax! It's definitely worth the visit.

We enjoy the science museum and Omni almost every time we visit Lubbock and it never gets old. Fun for children and adults, with 3 floors of exhibits, many of them interactive. Special section for under 5's, so little ones can get their wiggles out. Omni always has something good showing.
