The Depot District is starting to come together as a real cohesive mix of music, clubs, food and true social activities. McPherson's not only produces some terrific Texas grown wines, but is a beautiful place in the Depot to enjoy local art, live music and some terrific tastings. This is where we start First Fridays events www.ffat.org with music and... More

Decent Texas wines, excellent service and friendly staff made us welcome. Tasted a few wines, and need to put them on our list for a longer visit in the future, as they have happy hour time offerings.

McPherson's is a great winery to visit! The wine is good and the personnel is always very friendly, informative, and extremely tolerant of toddlers! We LOVE to sit out in the back patio with a full glass of vino after a tasting, let the kiddos play, and relax!

Check out my friend;s awesome and interesting local winery and bottling in the old bottling plant building downtown. Select the best of Lubbock's wines and enjoy the renovated space, awesome during First Friday Art Trail if you are around on the First Friday of each month.

McPherson Winery has some of THE BEST wines in Texas and are affordable. I'm sad that Thursday Patio Nights are over for the summer because it is so much fun to sit on their patio, listen to music, share a bottle of wine with friends and have a Crusty's pizza. The place to be! They have a fantastic space for... More

We visited the winery this past June for the first time and gave a favorable review. We just made our 2nd visit this August and had another great experience. The tasting had different selections from our June trip and we fell in love with some new wines. I don't typically enjoy white wines but McPherson has some that are fantastic.... More

This is a great place to come for a drink with a couple of friends. The location is so relaxing and special. The service is impeccable and everyone who works there is so friendly. I recently had my wedding there and the venue was PERFECT. I'll keep coming back (um, not to get married, but for a glass of wine)!

I have only been there on their Thursday night summer courtyard nights but it is great. They have live music with assorted wines and a local brick oven gourmet pizza truck in the parking lot (it's fantastic). It is a great atmosphere, good wine and a real fun time either as a couple or with a group of friends.
