Lake view is good, you can get some good pictures, trek around, sit down on the rocks and gaze at the lake. Don be surprised to find people being conveniently naked, because, yes this Texas's only clothing optional park. Though any kind of unethical activities, lewd behavior is not encouraged. People are quite self contained :-) and not disturbing, so... More

Hippie Hollow is Texas' only legal clothing-optional lake beach. it's a blast! A few tip to make it easier: 1. BRING SUNBLOCK. Texas sun is strong and you don't want to sunburn your...... 2. Bring a 2nd set of shoes you don't mind getting wet. I would recommend old sneakers-so they won't come off. It's rocky and you will be... More

Nude sun bathing is the main attraction for this park. From the parking lot, you walk down a steep incline to the lake shore. Best to wear tennis shoes because flip flops won't cut it. Bring your own food and drink; there are no restaurants or snack bars. However, there are several rest rooms. Crowd was very easy going, mostly... More

It is your typical nude beach area. There were no one just standing around to look. It was a very comfortable area. It is very rocky is you want to get to the water. We tried and got as far as the water and it was so slippery we were afraid we would hurt ourselves. We wish we would have... More

Nice warm water. Water is clear enough to view the fish and turtles. People are friendly, you can go off on your own or join a conversation. Suit or no suit it is up to you. All ages from 18 and up. Sadly, there is no real flat place to lay out and relax also the lake bottom is very... More

This spot could be so much more attractive and inviting; chairs, umbrellas, cleanup. It has lots of potential but it falls flat. You can be naked or not. Just mind your own business. Friendly people, kind of rough getting down to the water, wear water shoes! Some photo opps. of turtles and fish. Water temperature was nice. Relaxing but again,... More

The views are amazing, the people are friendly; and nice that you can be nude in Texas legally without having to worry about getting caught.

holding their things in the bushes. That's what I remember from 1994. The water was cool. I like the nude beach idea but in USA it's all about the pot bellied hippie perv.

As of this writing (August 10, 2014) the lake is about 50 feet lower than normal due to the drought, so you would need to climb down a hill to arrive at the water level. It's not too difficult, but you need some strength and balance since there's no clear path. The entrance fee is $15 per car. I didn't... More
