This spot could be so much more attractive and inviting; chairs, umbrellas, cleanup. It has lots of potential but it falls flat. You can be naked or not. Just mind your own business. Friendly people, kind of rough getting down to the water, wear water shoes! Some photo opps. of turtles and fish. Water temperature was nice. Relaxing but again,... More

The views are amazing, the people are friendly; and nice that you can be nude in Texas legally without having to worry about getting caught.

holding their things in the bushes. That's what I remember from 1994. The water was cool. I like the nude beach idea but in USA it's all about the pot bellied hippie perv.

As of this writing (August 10, 2014) the lake is about 50 feet lower than normal due to the drought, so you would need to climb down a hill to arrive at the water level. It's not too difficult, but you need some strength and balance since there's no clear path. The entrance fee is $15 per car. I didn't... More

Beach that clothing is optional.....so know you will see people swimming in the nude. Beach is very rocky and to get there you will need to hike down some very rocky uneven terrain. Limited shady areas. Cost to get in the park is 15.00... and that is all I have to say about that.

As a local resident I have been there a number times over the years mostly by boat. If you plan to walk in you need to be a GOAT. Planned to be DISGUSTED, the people that you want to see nude keep their clothes ON and the DIRTY OLD MEN in black socks sans clothes will damage your eyes. In... More

McGregor Park (more commonly known as Hippie Hollow) is on the rocky shore of Lake Travis, near Austin, Texas. This is part of the Travis County park system and does allow full nudity within its bounds. Unlike a number of years ago, the park is now restricted to 18 year olds and older. The park is along the edge of... More

We visited this local attraction on a Sunday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised. It is Texas' only clothes optional park, which drew us here for the promise of no tan lines. The cost of visiting is $15 per car, one parks and walks less than 250 meters to a slope of rocks that leads down to Lake Travis. The portion... More

Visited mid-week and enjoyed the visit. $15 admission/car admission a bit steep but guess that helps keep away some of the just curious or gawkers. Nice weather and although the sun darted in and out of the clouds looked to be about 30 - 40 people there including about 6 couples. Some were up in the tree line for some... More
