Went for the Ranch Hand Breakfast for this year. Been going for the past few years. As always it was a real treat. Every year there's something different in a good way. The people that went with us had a great time. 11-22-2014

We joined Jim in the field for a half day of birding. We were there specifically for the birding on the ranch. The birds were amazing and our guide as good as it can get. Truly a highlight of our trip to Texas.

Spent half a day on a private tour of the ranch. It was excellent and would highly recommend for anyone with an interest in ranching or Texas history! Good overview of the ranch and its heritage. Our guide (Marlett) was excellent--tailoring the tour to the areas of the ranch that we were interested. Saw quite a bit of wild life--deer,... More

Visiting the King Ranch will give you a great view of excellent ranching and raising quarter horses. There is so much history to the ranch. One can see the great contribution the King Ranch made to south TX. Its history has given it a very respectable reputation.

We took a tour bus and though it was informative I was a little bored. The hi light was a gentleman that worked the ranch since he was a kid got in the bus to tell us the story about the horse that he nursed back to health when he was a child and that horse went on to win... More

As a King Ranch F-150 owner we wanted to see the place associated with our great vehicle. What a disappointment. For starters, there's no clear signage to find the place. Then, if you look at Biltmore as the gold standard for destination tours, this tour is a 1 out of 5. This was such a let-down ... we wanted to... More

We we pleased to have visited the famous King's Ranch. We enjoyed the tour of the ranch and seeing the cattle out grazing. They had rain and every was green and lush. The architecture is unique and worth the trip. They had a small but excellent gift shop. For folks interested in Cattle Ranches, put this on your bucket list.

If u like texas history you will enjoy the tour. Be sure to watch the short information movie on the history of how the ranch got started. The King ranch is very diverse.

Positives: convenient location near historic downtown, ample parking Negatives: relatively few exhibits, no inside photography From its beginning, Texas has been a land of superlatives. Residents proudly proclaim everything is bigger there. Probably no institution represents that claim better than King Ranch. Tours of the actual property are available but we were concerned about riding in a bus over ninety... More

What can I say lots of grass. You also get to see cows and horses. Mainly just a bus ride around the ranch. The video they showed before the bus ride was good. But after that it was kinda a fight to stay awake. Kinda overpriced for what you get to see.
