My husband and I stayed at the Y.O. Hotel in Kerrville for 5 days. We enjoyed seeing all the animals and artwork in the beautiful lobby. We ate several meals in their restaurant which was very good. We particularly liked this hotel and their rooms. We needed a wheelchair accessible room and the space provided in the room and restroom... More

I just came back from the YO Ranch (4/12). Everything was first class. I got there just in time for a Prime Rib dinner, one of the best meals I've ever had. After dinner we relaxed in the Lodge for a couple of Jack Daniels Black - no sparing here. I went back to my cabin, the Crockett and immediatelly... More

we have been on the ranch in february 2012 and really didn't know what is waiting on us. when we arrived we needed to pass a gate, after that gate we needed to drive for more than 7 miles to reach the main house. so the property is really huge. we just arrived in time for lunch, and that was... We recently were there for our Clumber Spaniel National and found it to be a awesome site for this kind of venue. Plenty of places for the dogs, rooms are tile and staff is absolutely wonderful and very helpful. They also seemed to enjoy our dogs being there. Food was very good in fact better than most hotel restaurants. Rooms... More

Was pretty much a regular for Sunday Brunch for a year. While some of the staff is very attentive and friendly a few of the not so friendly staff give you a not so nice feeling. Lots of choices on the buffet make it a good choice for everyone. Good salad bar w/ lots of selections. Everything always seems fresh.... More

The buffet luncheon was varied, delicious, and first class. The atmosphere lovely with cut flowers on all the tables. Charming. More

Note: There is a "Y.O. Ranch" hotel and restaurant in Kerrville, which people often confuse with the actual ranch which is closer to the tiny town of Mountain Home (pop. 96). The Y.O. Ranch is a 40,000 acre working longhorn cattle ranch that has been a continuous family operation since 1880. About 50 years ago, the ranch began a program... More

The cabins at the hunting lodge need serious attention. The A/C & heater did not work. There are no hair dryers or shampoo in the bathroom. The walls between the rooms are paper thin. You can hear every work said in the room next door. The decor is country and comfy. If you don't hunt, this is not the place... More

They lost my booking. They're fax machine was having issues when my company tried to send the Credit Card Authorization form over. The reservations woman was rude. The sink in my bathroom was leaking when I first entered my room. Was unable to get extra pillows and the pool bar was suposed to be open, but it wasn't. Pool and... More
