My husband and I camped here in July for a couple of days and were pleasantly suprised. The web site did not have many pictures, so I was not sure of what we would find. If you want to experience wildlife up close and personal, this is the place to go. We had at least up to ten deer at... more

We just stayed 3 nights here (popup camper) in the Deer Field Loop section. Great facilities. The city of Kerrville now manages the park instead of TX Parks & Wildlife Dept. Plenty of trails to hike. Restrooms & showers clean. Our site was very quiet & plenty of deer to watch... Highly recommend this park for camping. The Guadalupe river... more

We stayed in the shelters here at LEAST 6 weekends last year. This Feb we were the only visitors one weekend, very peaceful. Clean, right on the river, close to town, lots of deer! Headed back this weekend again! more
