This is a well maintained city park that used to be a state park. There are spaces for rv's, tents, and they also have cabins. There is water access to the river and kayak rental is also available.

Located on the Guadalupe River the 517 acre park has RV hookups and cabins for rent. Kayake rentals or tubing are available. Volleyball, play ground for small ones, basketball are avilable. A variety of birds, small animals, and deer can be seen in the mornings and evening. There is no smoking anywhere in the park and no pets are allowed.

This park was taken over by the city of Kerville. My wife wanted to drive around and see the layout but would be required to pay an entrance fee. It was better as a Texas State Park.

After about five the day crowds leave, Allowing for those without time restrictions a few more hours of recreation without having to vie for a spot. The campsites seemed ok.... More

Beautiful park and nice amenities. Sad to see the chain link fence around what was the day trip picnic area.

This is just a fabulous addition to celebrate Kerrville's nearness to the Guadalupe River. How many cities can say: "....and a river runs through it"? There are 3 access points all having parking facilities and comfort stations. As it stands in 7/13/2015, it is approximately 4.1 miles from Louise Hays park to the Kerrville-Schreiner park. Beautiful!! In time, the City... More
