I have been wanting to ride on the Beast for the longest time. My date surprised me and took me to ride the Beast. It was so much fun and I would do it again.

Fun ride for adults and kids. Put your cell phone in a plastic bag with your camera because you will get wet. Short ride but a lot of fun.

It's a big speedboat, but it picks up enough speed to get everyone wet. The music is thunderous, but one can't help but get into the party spirit.

We were told we wouldn't get very wet since it was cold. But we got pretty soaked still. The music was fun to listen to while on there and made it more exciting considering we were a little mad that we were wet and cold and worried about getting more wet as the ride went on. The driver should've been... More

The Kemah Boardwalk with this old wooden rollercoaster is a great place to spend the day. Reasonable pricing, good restaurants. The Saltgrass Steak House is really great and reasonably priced for the large portions you get.

Seems if there is a crowd, they run the boat.....and the Gulf is not always that smooth for an enjoyable ride. If you go early in the day, on a day not real windy, it is enjoyable. But there is no breakwater levee's here, and usually, it is a very rough ride and not recommended for crowd over 50. A... More

Went to the Bay Area Dive Market in League City on Saturday morning and had a great time but it was over at 5 PM and didn't want to drive back to Austin. Found some people that suggested we go to the Boardwalk in Kemah which was about 10 miles away, It was raining but but anyway. Wow, this is... More

We had the Houston City Pass, so we got a discount on our Beast tickets. We sat in the middle of the boat and only got a little wet, no need to change clothes. Boat speeds out into Galveston Bay. Could do without the dancing girl; she looked like she didn't want to be there. But the songs they played... More

Well, our expectations were *maybe* a little too high for this ride. It did go fast... but not *really* fast. We got to do the Macarena (lead by the tour guides). And we also got unbelievably drenched. Don't ride this ride unless you can handle that little bit of it. All in all, it was a so-so ride and a... More

****Tip: If for whatever reason you do not want to get wet, then sit on the inside seats. If your party is larger than four and everyone only wants to get minimally wet, then only sit in 2 inside seats on both sides. No walking around once boat is moving. Whoever sits closest to the railing will be soaked. It... More
