Wonderful time at Kemah Boardwalk. We took the train ride first so we could get a feel for everything there. We spent over 5 hours here and easily could have spent longer. Restaurant prices are steep, so the buffet may be best idea if wanting to save. Son loved all the rides! Many great photo ops. Very great time, wonderful... More

Built over the water on a pier adds to the excitement of the rides. ... helps keep it somewhat cooler too.

The Kemah Boardwalk is one of the best places to go near Houston. Great waterfront restaurants. Carnival and amusement rides. Boat charters for fun and fishing. Dinner cruises, yacht rentals etc. The town has lots of touristy shops, pubs and great entertainment for all ages. They do specialty things like the upcoming Halloween Haunted house. Someplace you should not miss... More

Been here a few times before, but came back after a visit to San Jacinto. I would have just liked to sit and watch the boats for free, but of course with two 12 yrs old you have to do some rides. It would have been cheaper to get the all ride pass but as you are looking at the... More

Let's get the pricey part out of the way. How about $3.75 for a one liter bottle of Coke? Nice place to bring the family with arcades and rides with a plethora of places to eat including a Bubba Gump Shrimp place. There is a Mexican food restaurant and a buffet place as well. The highlight of our trip was... More

This is a great place just 30-40 minutes to drive outside of Houston. Live entertainment and good food. There is also an aquarium.

We didn't ride any rides but we had a great time walking around. There is lots going on and lots to see. It's kind of cheesy and touristy but was fun none the less. Around the boardwalk are some pretty cool places to see too.

This will be a spot to return to! We arrived too late to enjoy the boardwalk they way we wanted to, however, we had a good time and look forward to riding all the rides before they close. There's plenty to do and see. Something for all ages.

My wife and I stayed at South Shore Harbour Resort and we always visit Kemah Boardwalk. I can attest that it has grown over the years and have gotten better. There is a good mixture of kid attractions as well as a good mix of restaurants, shopping and fun activities.
