We had a great time here. It was super hot though. It would even be more enjoyable in the fall. There are not a whole lot of rides but just enough that it doesn't become overwhelming trying to fit it all in. We stayed in Galveston, just about 30 minutes away. This was very nice, there's a hotel on site... More

Good for families with children. Midway, itch rides and games. Several seafood restaurants. Stores down from the boardwalk are closed during the week

Tourist Trap. Really not that fun. Overprices attractions and the restaurants were just okay. Good for one visit just to say you have been there. Boat trip around the lake was super lame.

What a fun place for the kids, good food and good coffee. We rode our bikes there from League City for Oktoberfest weekend because parking was very expensive and it was so fun having our bikes to ride around Kemah for the weekend. Check what events are taking place before visiting as it can get pretty crowded.

The Kemah Boardwalk is a concentration of restaurants (mainly serving seafood), a hotel and fairground attractions (rides, games, etc) by the waterfront at Kemah which is a 50-minute drive from Houston. You can also jet ski or take half-hour cruises on at least two regular boat services (one open, one covered and airconditioned) around the bay. There is also a... More

Great getaway from the city. The temperature was hot, but drinks were cool and the atmosphere is great.Worth the detour from Houston. Nice food, great sights. Don't forget to feed the catfish: there were millions under the boardwalk, all pushing eachother to get our attention.

We love going here. You can just take a stroll on the boardwalks (for no charge) get a great meal or ride all day. I love to going window shopping at all the neat stores. And then you can walk over to the little town of Kemah for some more great shopping.

This is a touristy area. Our grand kids loved the rides, but BRING MONEY. Water at $3.50 a bottle seems a bit outrageous. That being said, you can bring your own cooler if you plan ahead. Very lovely place just a bit pricey.

This place is extremely hot (temperature/popular) during the summer. Especially on the weekends. Restaurants have awesome food at a premium price. The Aquarium is a great place for the kids and your first time visit to Kemah. There is a dancing water fountain area for the kids to play; weather permitting. Parking is at a premium during the popular times... More
