My wife and I were visiting Jefferson and found this wonderful museum. It's an unexpected enjoyment. We were walking from our car to the antiques stores and just happened to see this place was open. The owners are wonderful open people who have poured their hearts into this very varied collection of clocks, surveying equipment and curiosities. My wife, who... More

This is a must visit for anyone interested in history, maps, surveying, timekeeping, clocks, salt/pepper shakers, early business machines, etc. etc. And most of all... the wonderful owners of all of these wonderful things opening up their hearts and collections, sharing with you their knowledge and beautiful artifacts. We were given a personal tour by the owners. The museum is a their own collection that they have been collecting for over 60 years. They will give you all of the history behind the clocks and other things in the museum.

We went in by chance, it just looked interesting. We were so surprised because it's much more. This couple has such an amazing collection of time pieces. Vast and expansive collection that will take you back in time (pun intended). The lady that owns it took us on a personal tour and she was just delightful. Her husband has saved... More

If you end up enjoying the B&Bs in town it is well worth allocating a couple of hours for this museum. The owners are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and generous with their time which makes the whole place a must see if you have any interest in maps, clocks or anything related to measurement.

This is a great collection of clocks, survey equipment, mechanical calculators, and other interesting stuff. The owner is a retired surveyor and is very knowledgeable of both the history and the workings of his items. If the place is not busy, the owner will give you a tour and you can focus on the items that are of most interest... More

We enjoyed looking at the massive collection of clocks, surveying equipment, and maps. The owners are super nice folks and give you a very personal tour. They do ask for donations, but there is absolutely no pressure.
