It took a little work - the GPS can't find them because they are doing construction & have shut down the road directly in front of the building where the mustangs are. That being said, go to the back of the building and park int he south tower. Anyone can point you toward these beautiful statues! Also, the creator of... More

I was so excited to see this sculpture...unfortunately...they had drained the water so they can clean the fountain and mustangs so I was able to still see them...but they were running through concrete. Still gorgeous !! You MUST see it!

We set off to see the mustangs knowing ahead of time that there was road construction going on that may make locating the statues difficult. It was. We never did find them. If you go make sure you have better directions than we did which was an address typed into our GPS. This area of Irving was much larger than... More

For some strange reason they have started to have security at the horses on the weekend. Its a decent sized tourist attraction in the area for some reason. Always seen foreigners taking photos of it, only problem is there is nothing else in the immediate area especially on weekends. There is a small museum inside the building but I have... More

This year incredibly marks the 30th birthday of the landmark bronze Mustangs, but O'Connor Road construction will delay its party. The Irving Heritage Society Museum inside Williams Square's northern tower features a video presentation charting John Carpenter's commissioning, design and transportation to Irving. Robert Glen, South African sculptor, is expected to attend the 30+1 Celebration September 2015. Before viewing the... More

I work at Williams Square where the Mustangs are, so I get to see them every day. They are so beautiful, water running below their hooves. It is a great photo opportunity. Every day there are 50 to 100 people that stop to look at them. It is a must see in Irving.

I first took time to stop and visit this majestic, awesome sculpture in 1994 and now take time to drop by here on just about every visit to the Dallas area. I've seen these magnificent steeds that seem to be in thundering motion at least six times, both in daytime and at night. Viewing the sculpture at night adds drama... More

While it was a little difficult to find the actual sculpture (it's in a courtyard of several surrounding buildings), it was worth the find. Very impressive piece of art and worth a visit for some great photo opportunities.
