This year incredibly marks the 30th birthday of the landmark bronze Mustangs, but O'Connor Road construction will delay its party. The Irving Heritage Society Museum inside Williams Square's northern tower features a video presentation charting John Carpenter's commissioning, design and transportation to Irving. Robert Glen, South African sculptor, is expected to attend the 30+1 Celebration September 2015. Before viewing the... More

I work at Williams Square where the Mustangs are, so I get to see them every day. They are so beautiful, water running below their hooves. It is a great photo opportunity. Every day there are 50 to 100 people that stop to look at them. It is a must see in Irving.

I first took time to stop and visit this majestic, awesome sculpture in 1994 and now take time to drop by here on just about every visit to the Dallas area. I've seen these magnificent steeds that seem to be in thundering motion at least six times, both in daytime and at night. Viewing the sculpture at night adds drama... More

While it was a little difficult to find the actual sculpture (it's in a courtyard of several surrounding buildings), it was worth the find. Very impressive piece of art and worth a visit for some great photo opportunities.

Certainly worth seeing when in the las colinas area. The mustangs seem to be running through the plaza through the water so it's certainly very cool to just sit and watch them for a bit. I would definitely return

These bronze sculptures of mustangs are amazing. The detail and sense of motion by the artist, Robert Glen, are absolutely incredible - it's almost like a snapshot taken while actual horses were in motion. They span a flat, shallow water fountain in William's Square and it looks as though the horses are running through the water. I detracted a star... More

My mother who lives in Texas suggested we visit this site. It was well worth the extra drive from Dallas. The day was very hot, and the plaza is concrete, so it felt like we were in a frying pan. I suggest you visit this site on a cool day. The horses are magnificent and very lifelike. The pool has... More

These are beautful life like statues. They are actual sizes of real horses and very very detail. I love the ones running through the water.
