This review pertains only to the Carpenter Performance Hall - not the overall Irving Arts Center. I went here to hear the Irving Symphony at the Carpenter Performance Hall. It is a relatively small theater with very average decor and seating. There is ample parking. There is an art gallery attached to the main lobby with was decent. There was... More

We really liked the sculpture walk on the outside. The art was full of variety and good talent. Nice building and easy access.

Thanks for stopping by! Our exhibitions change frequently to keep it fresh for our repeat guests. Next up are a couple of terrific circus related shows and the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies beginning June 1. Hope to see you again soon. More

Excellent place to catch a musical performance. Nice seating with good sight lines. The theater is able to draw excellent talent, and from time to time puts on some rarely-seen shows.

I stopped by to see an exhibit in the gallery then found there are more than one galleries. Also there is a beautiful sculpture garden completed with waterfalls. The building is welcoming and beautiful. I also saw a ballet performance on stage in the very comfortable theatre. Performances are for a small charge but gallery exhibits are free.

Great venue for local shows. Sound and lighting were both good. The surroundings made the events seem more professional.

It's been too long since I visited this place, but from what I remember the experience was a good one. Perhaps I will visit it again soon.

The exhibit was excepitional and alot of work was put into it to make you feel as if you were back in that time and at the end of the displays they had teen age dancers that did an excellent job of doing mongolion dances we very much enjoyed that day.

Stopped by the Irving Arts Center to see the art galleries and it was a very pleasant visit. The main gallery space is huge and light and airy. A great selection of art from local artists. Looks like they have a nice theater as well but didn't have time to catch a show.

We recently traveled to Irving, Texas to see their production of Oklahoma. This was the BEST musical I have ever seen, and that includes the ones that we have been to in NYC. The quality of the performance as well as the friendly staff and accommodations were excellent. Hopefully we will be able to visit again soon. Great job!!
