Love heading down to the Canal for photo sessions, but other than that, there does not seem to be much more there. There is great architecture and there is a restaurant there, but I've not been in it so am unable to provide any information on it.

Just a canal surrounded by large buildings. I did not see gondolas or people. Perhaps I went to the wrong part of the canal, but I was disappointed.

The canal running through the area has real potential. Unfortunately, it seems like the place is mostly deserted now. The idea is great, but the reality is not so great.

This is a gorgeous walk to along. Fun to watch gondola's and people. It goes around Lake Carolyn, in the Las Colinas area of Irving.

Great place for a walk, to enjoy a meal and enjoy the Euopean like atmosphere. You can also book ahead for a gondolas ride.

Usually not very crowded, the canals are a nice get away for walking or jogging. Easy access to the Las Colinas downtown hotels and restaurants too.

Wow! An amazing place which could be so vibrant but is simply abandoned. We stopped by this location, as we grew up watching Dallas and had identified it as one of the filming locations for the show. It seems to have literally been frozen in time and is a little spooky. Let's hope the new housing developments being built locally... More

A very stroll, a couple of businesses along the way. Very romantic. The feel of the canals of Venice Italy

We went to see the fireworks on the 4th. We loved it. Very laid back, plenty of room to sit along the canal.
