My family and I spent the weekend there to finish out our scuba certification. I highly recommend Texas Scuba. They have it all in one easy place. the only thing they didn't provide was good weather the last day. But we look forward to coming back to finish and enjoy the place during some great weather.

I'm going to start off by refuting the claims that the owners and staff are rude - quite the opposite in our experience. If you saw cars entering/exiting while you were waiting in line, that was probably us SCUBA trainees who travel to and from their dive shop, and have spots reserved for us so we can train. If you... This is my favorite dive site in the greater Houston area. There's some cool boats and other items to see in both the lagoons as well as platforms for training. The location is great and so beautiful and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Phil, Sharla and all the staff do a great job and I always enjoy myself whenever... More

I have lived in Texas all my life & never knew this little jewel was just an hour away from us. It felt like we were on some Caribbean excursion. The water is so clear & blue. Make sure you stay away from the floating white buoy, which this is the diver's area and they need that area cleared of... More

This is a weekend well spent. If you are not into diving, then you can just swim and eat and enjoy the beautiful day. You will get amazing photos in this location and it will just calm your nerves

Great place to spend the day diving, swimming, or just relaxing! Those who want a hassle free day, go to the BL. Phil and crew keep the rowdy crowds out for a great laid back experience!

My wife, son and I are beginning divers and came here August 2014 for additional practice. It is difficult to find clear water bodies in Texas and we were glad to find good 20-25 ft visibility here. The water is clear and has a bluish color to it. There are 2 separate lagoons and we did #2. Water temp was... More

I stopped in today, Saturday the 26th. I wanted to see the place and talk to the ppl there to see if I wanted to do dive training and go for swimming since its only 30mis away. The girls were hesitant to even let me look..or drive past the intrance...but once the kids & girlfriend got out the car all... More

We were are Blue Lagoon a couple of weeks ago and the vis was great 20 to 30 feet. Not that many classes which helped with the vis. Enjoyed the day.

This is the perfect day trip if you like gorgeous blue water and no fish to scare the kids. Be prepared to sit in line for your spot if you are not a diver. Just get there early, it's worth it for a quiet day out of town. Your car will get really dirty on the gravel road so don't... More
