Unless you are a diver, good luck getting to swim in this beautiful natural resource that has been claimed and controlled for profit. They consider themselves a diving facility so divers are highly favorited. They only allow so many non-divers in at a time (not many) so some have to wait in line in their vehicles for hours and others... More

I love this place! It is one of my favorite places to dive in the Houston area. My husband and I will usually make this our 'checkout' dive at the beginning of the season just to make sure everything is working correctly and we will head out here right before a big trip just to brush up on skills. It's... More

Sheila, Bryan, and Jim took time to help us gain a great understanding for scuba diving. My sweetheart was new to scuba and I was getting re-certified. This team of experts made us feel so comfortable. We repeated skills over and over with direct supervision until we could do the skills with our eyes closed. I never thought I'd be... More

This is our new favorite dive spot inland. Excellent staff and facilities! We had 15-25 foot visibility all weekend in a greet locale. It's about a the hour drive for us, but it was worth the trip. Underwater diving platforms, a couple of boats have been sunk, lots of little minnows around the bottom of the boats. Great experience!!

I was here last year and diving was pretty good. But this time it was real murky and visibility was only about 5 feet. I believe it was because of the swimmers on the surface stirring up the silt. The road getting back to the dive sites are full of ruts, some quite deep. You better have a pick up... More

This has to be the greatest scuba diving destination in Texas. The place is well run and clean and has everything a diver would need from gear to nitrox. It has a very friendly and knowledgeable staff . The water is very clear with boats , structures and even a stagecoach for exploring ! This is by far our favorite... More

A typical Texas lake. Depth is a shallow 20 something feet.... 25 maybe? Visibility depends totally on the time of year. In the spring and winter visibility is good. Summer brings the algae bloom and so the visibility drops drastically down. On the weekends there are often students getting certified so visibility is less due to students kicking up silt... More
