It being typical Houston summer, my wife and I did not want to spend all day outside, but wanted a nice walk with some scenery, which led us to discover this gem. We only walked the formal gardens, which merited about an hour for a leisurely stroll, but everything was paved nicely and easily accessible for our stroller. This is... More

Excellent spot for walking. If you want to enjoy the outdoor then this place is a good choice. Even better if you live in Humble area. Very nice area to enjoy the nature, nice botanic garden and great area across the garden for jogging trail and picnic area. I was here yesterday in the summer time and have great enjoyment... More

A nice arboretum and garden for you to wander through when it's not so hot in H-town. There can be a lot of mosquitoes, given the location, so be sure to take some protection with you.

We visited in the early spring, many beautiful tulips we're blooming but the area was sadly in need of maintenance after a wet winter. That being said I know they rely a lot on volunteers and the overall nature and trails and... More

Small but good place to see. Great place to take photos and enjoy scenery. If you need more trails just cross the street and enjoy more of nature.

We visited early on a friday morning. The weather cooperated and we spent three hours wandering through the trails and were exposed to well maintained plants and beautiful scenes. The staff were friendly..explaining how they coped with the recent heavy rains. the scenic pond gave view of turtles perched for sunning and rabbits in the meadow eating breakfast. The gift... More
