There are two theaters in the building...Sarofim Hall which plays host to the bigger Broadway musicals and Zilkha Hall which plays host to smaller productions. Sarofim holds approximately 2600 patrons. If you are looking for the best seats, in my opinion, they are the first couple of rows in... More

That was one incredible show and the choir is made up primarily of South Korean artists with a smattering of American, African, and Latin American artists. I have been to several shows in Sarofim... First time attending this theatre for a comedy show. Great location. Service was great. Only downside- you can buy alcoholic drinks, however, you have to purchase a "sippy" cup in order to take into the theatre. Never have seen this practice before. Not only was it more $$, on already overpriced drinks, but, it slowed the line down tremendously. Waiting... More

The new Hobby Center has a nice restaurant and bar attached for those who don't want to hassle with finding another restaurant before the show, but it is quite pricey and one can do much better by taking a taxi down Smith St. to Brennan's or Reef for top notch fare. The theater however is excellent! The Theater Under The... More

Went to see War Horse. I happened to get really cheap seats, but the prior time - seeing The Book of Mormon - paid much more and was higher up in the nosebleed section.
