The inside of the stadium is nice, but the crumbling Astrodome detracts from it. A lady passed out from the heat, and event staff was very near & radioed for assistance. Took way too long for a response, and the EMT didn't even have water. Less importantly, wait time for concessions were the longest I've ever experienced.

Great place to watch a game. Easy access off 610. Ample parking. Don't park on the Fannin Street side as it conflicts with the Metro train downtown and backs up badly. Great seating. Seats in the 500 section offer very good field views. 300 level seating probably offers best sidelines. Both end zones have a large screen, but it is... More

I attended the Advocare Kick Off Classic b/w LSU and Wisconsin. While knowing it could be as hot as 100 degrees outside I had no idea what to expect inside. It all boils down to the roof. If you know the roof will be closed you can plan on it being comfortable for any normal attire (shorts, jeans, short sleeves,... More

Along with more than 50,000 others, I attended a three day program in the NRG Stadium. Although it was hot and humid outside, the stadium was comfortable, and cool. For the noon break, each family was instructed to bring their own food to eat in their seats. I wasn't looking forward to that, but it worked out well, and the... More

Football or rodeo this is a great place to watch both. Have sat in many sections here and all have been good.

Had a chance to see a Texans game from one of the suites. The suites were very nice for the game. The foot served was surprisingly better than expected and the sight lines excellent. Boy was it loud! Particuarly since the Texans won in overtime. I had a parking pass, so this was easy. Ont he downside, not sure the... More

Ok, so this is the second major Rodeo we've been to. The first being the incredible Calgary Stampede also known as the "the greatest outdoor show in the world". We enjoyed the Houston Rodeo. Luckily we were treated to box seats and that certain gave it a certain ambiance. Having experienced a rodeo before, we knew what to expect and... More

If your viewing experience is best satisfied by sitting in a large, anti-septic stadium with no character, poor sound quality, and "challenging" sight-lines, then this is the facility for you!

I was impressed by the dimensions of this stadium. I was there for the Rodeo Houston and the whole experience was great. In Brasil we don't have anything like that. The chairs are comfortable, the arena is air- conditioned and the event was well organized.
