Called "The Symphony of a Thousand" because it takes over 400 people to perform (lots of choirs and odd instruments). We were in the grand tier and had horns playing in the second movement off to our right, so we got a bit of surround sound.

It's one of the best symphonies I have ever heard with many guest conductors and famous guest stars. Not to be missed

It was a great experience! Andres is a great asset to the symphony. They have various events coming up and we will be attending! Everyone should go. Worth the money.

We just saw blues and ragtime at the jones hall and it was excellent. The acoustics are always great and the event was well planned and spanned a 100 years of American music.

I'm impressed with the new director, and like the new wind the Symphony is taking under this leadership. Bravo Houston Symphony and thanks for offering the city top quality music.

I love the Houston Symphony. I always try to go several times a year. A lot of friends from out of town are always surprised to see that Houston has so much to offer h in the arts and music.

the pops are the best but the symphony does a great job with all kinds of music grab your gal, dress up and go listen to great music that fills all your senses with a nice dinner makes a great evening "out on the town" seats are comfortable - closer is not always better for the sound
