I love the Houston Symphony. I always try to go several times a year. A lot of friends from out of town are always surprised to see that Houston has so much to offer h in the arts and music.

While you the symphony is dull, the pops shows are a fun evening. A great date night to get out with your spouse.

Fun activity to do in Houston. Played well and enjoyed a concert. The symphony plays well and if you like classical music then you will definitely enjoy them

Don't know how to praise enough the incredible Sunday night Pops series. Recently saw Chris Botti, the most amazing trumpet player in America! The Houston Symphony makes me proud to be living in Houston. Amazing, world-class performances every time. Highly skilled, graceful musicians and an animated, energetic conductor. They perform such a variety of music, too, from the classics to video game to Disney music. Tickets seem very reasonably priced. Can only say good things!

I went to a free performance at the Miller Outdoor Theater. It was open lawn seating, family friendly, BYOB (alcohol is allowed, but no glass!), and overall a very enjoyable atmosphere. I would definitely recommend giving this a try!

Visitors don't expect Houston to have a fine orchestra, but we do, with a world-class conductor and top musicians. Ticket costs are way below those of other top-tier orchestras and well worth it.
