The venue is great with high class performance in addition to the excellent acoustic. We did not subscribe for the season but rather go whenever we are available. Sometimes we bought the last minute tickets from Travelzoo, of course not the best seats.

We recently went to hear the Houston Symphony play Tchaikovsky's "Romeo & Juliet" which was amazing. They had a guest cellist that played with such passion. Everyone must experience this classy and world renowned symphony.

We have been season subscribers to the Pops for over 10 years. The musicians are great and Jones Hall is the perfect venue. There is not a 'bad' seat in the house!

We love both classical and pops, this was a pops concert based on "Mad Men" era music from the 60's. It was excellent. Jones Hall is a great venue and the sound is wonderful. The orchestra, of course, is world class and a pleasure to listen to. Light and easy to hear.

I love the concert space and the orchestra's performance very much. As a whole experience, it requires money, time and some patience. You should arrive early and be prepared to deal with crowds for drinks or snack 9are these really necessary for a live music performance.) The music is sublime. But I think that the introductions before the music go... More

We went to see the John Williams/Yo Yo Ma concert, and wow, it was spectacular. I realize that is not the usual music performed, however, the symphony itself made beautiful music, and I am sure whatever they play will leave me with chills. We will be back!

Houston has one of the best symphony orchestras in the world. The talent of musicians and conductors alike is exceptional. The planned programming for 2014 promises to be spectacular.

I love the Houston symphony so much I travel 8-10 times a year from NM just to go to the symphony. The pops concerts are always fun, though the classic & family are outstanding as well. It's a great weekend get-away for my husband & I.
