I really enjoy Texas Rock Gym. When I started climbing I went to several other gyms and they could not compare. Great place

The climbing and bouldering were good. The floor staff was helpful and nice. However the girl behind the desk was more interested in her facebook page than helping customers. She acted like we were bothering her.

So, yes, I love going to the Texas Rock Gym. It's a GREAT workout: both mentally and physically. There are 2 things that I don't really like about the place: the smell (not sure if its from the shredded tires or perspiration or both) and the pricing is a little steep and confusing for a first time visitor. Always best... More

I've been climbing at TRG for the last two years since I moved to Houston. We usually go about twice a week. The people who work here are usually pretty chill. They like to remind you about safety which I appreciate, although some of the employees go about it more gracefully than others. They are open until 10 on every... More

I went to Texas Rock Gym a few times when my son became interested in Rock Climbing. He and his best friend enjoyed competing on the rocks, and I enjoyed learning how to Balay, and climbing a little as well. I think it was a confidence builder for the boys, there were various levels so they could get comfortable and... More

One of the best things we ever did, climbing its not easy at all, going up is easier than going down in my view. The staff at Texas Rock Gym were Amazing they were their to tell us what to do and guide us through out when we needed assistance. Its an amazing experience either with a group of friends... More

Houston summers are tough and we were looking for an activity to keep our daughter active. We went to this rock climbing gym and enjoyed it thoroughly. The instructors were patient, helpful and encouraging. It was so much fun and recommend it to all. We will be back!
