So many things that you must see in this zoo! Part of my city pass tour. I felt like a child again. The experience was thrilling despite the torrential rainfall that day. I would go back if I was a houstonite. The chimp exhibit was truly eye opening but i took a real liking to the rhino's.

Always a wonderful time! Combine this ticket with the houston city pass and it makes for a great day with your kids. Zoo, HMNS, then aquarium for lunch...done!

I love going to the Houston zoo. Lots of fun, and they seem to update the exhibits often. I really enjoyed feeding the giraffes, and the gorilla exhibit will be opening in May 2015. Definitely worth visiting!

My sisters love this place. The food is expensive though so i always recommend bringing snacks and drinks for small children.

Fun day at the Houston Zoo. Good for the family, a lot for the kids to see. Easy to get around and the GPS app makes life a lot easier.

I really love this zoo - it is a lot of fun, and is well laid out. Visit during the late day or even to avoid the heat most of the year.

I joined two young couples with toddlers to spend an afternoon wondering around the Houston Zoo; everybody had a great time and left with a desire to return again soon. The animal habitats appeared to be well designed and the animals looked very well cared for. Most importantly the three year olds could see many of the animals without having... More

Being used to the Bronx Zoo in NYC, we were pleased to see the variety of animals at this smaller zoo. The Map was very well done and easy to navigate. The Keepers were very knowledgeable about there animals. They were lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, red pandas, you name it. We did not tour the Children's petting zoo or the... More

my husband and I go to zoos every city we visit and this ranks in our top three. Make sure you take enough time to explore all the exhibits. It is a lot of walking but easy to navigate through. The sea lion show was adorable. Excellent for kids and adults. Only complaint; way too many bird exhibits.
