We have visited several brewery/restaurants and this one hits somewhere in the middle. Parking was a mess even at 6:30 on a Saturday evening. We circled the place once before having to park in a bank parking lot and walk a ways to the brewery. The place was packed!! There is outside seating and beer tasting, but we were interested... Karbach brewery has been going strong for the last several years. They completed an expansion project in 2015 allowing additional production of their brews. However, it also included a bar and restaurant that is open for both lunch and dinner. The menu items use many of their beers as ingredients, so that is unique.. I went there for a late... More

Overall we had a good time. I found at least one beer I enjoyed. Not really a fan of hoppy beer. We were with a large group and honestly the group was not handled well. The indoor bar area should have a better configuration for restaurant goers to just bar patrons....a lot of the walk way was blocked by just... More

About a mile from the place, started to notice a lot of cars parked along the street, and a lot of foot traffic. After making a second pass, we actually got a spot in their paved lot, which is really small given the size of the restaurant/beirgarten. Quoted a half hour to hour for dinner- ended up being about 10... More

Nice tour with knowledgeable, funny guide. Good service in the restaurant and good food but the pizza could have been better. Will be back again to try more of the menu and bring out of town friends.

A few of us decided to try Karbach for lunch - just off Hempstead Road - walk in and the brewery is to the right and dining is straight ahead or on the patio. Concrete floors, wooden tables and extremely tall ceilings surrounded by windows. Waitress was very friendly and offered suggestions. Appetizers, sandwiches, salads and entrees - hard choices.... I rate this a 4.8 so a 5. This is not a table cloth fine dining experience. This is the kind of place that I like much better. I really like this new trend of gastro-pubs at breweries. This is a great example. In addition to tours at the brewery, Karback has a first class restaurant with a full array... More

Karback has a very nice restaurant where we never had a bad meal inside and a "biergarten" outside if the weather is good. The beers are extremely tasteful and the different kind have something for any beer lover. The Hopadillo is great and I can't wait for the Hopdislusion to come back. The Korean Chicken appetizer is our spicy favorite,... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here, there is an outside biergarten and an inside restaurant. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and the tour was fun. All the beers were good, love the Hopadillo! We had the Korean chicken wings and duck leg confit which were both great. Will defiantly be back for more good beer and to... More
