The feel inside Sundance is...well...different. And, that's a good thing. Redford, who owns the chain, did a great job at making the movie going experience more of an adult pleasure experience, including beer/wine and nibblies, etc. in lieu of the usual fare. The decore is more Cali than Texas. So, when you're inside you almost forget you're in deep in... More

Great bar and "snack" food available upon entry. Take your beverage with you to the theater of your choice and enjoy very comfortable seating. Though out of the way with it's theater district location, we will go back

First, Its nice to go to a theater and not have to deal with thousands of gangsta "wanta be" kids. Second, Its nice to enjoy food and drink while watching a movie in a nice, comfortable setting. You reserve your seats when buying your ticket, so do it online and get there just in time. A bonus to keep you... More

This is great- good mixed drinks, gourmet snacks, reserved seats and a clean theater! The parking is underground and there are restaurants within blocks for dinner. A nice night at the movies

the remodeled theatre is artistically very pleasing-the natural wood and interesting art give it a nice feeling and ot a stale popcorny smell of a theatre. They will validate parking and the theatres are small-a very nice addition to downtown Houston

Comfortable seating, shows many films that don't make it to the chains, and reserved seating for all. They refund your $7. underground parking fee immediately. Cafe and bar inside, not too expensive, and you can take your drinks into the auditoriums.

This place is a treat. From the interior ambience, decor, and refreshments (heck, it's a full restaurant menu of food and beverages) to the comfortable reclining seats in the spacious theaters, this place is a hundred times improved over its predecessor. Build more theaters like these! Cinemark could take a lesson from Sundance! Only downside is that because of its... More

I went to Sundance Cinema on opening & have become addicted to the atmosphere, bar, food, friendly staff, and most of all the wide range of films from which to choose. The individual theaters have a limited number of seating and it is a very intimate way to enjoy a great movie. I especially love that you can reserve your... More
