I just adore Sundance Cinemas, I use to frequent the theater when it was Angelica and although I always enjoyed the Indie Films shown it always lacked something. Sundance Cinema is "The" movie going experience that I was searching for. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly smiling faces and I love that I can order... More

Sundance is a great theatre for those who like to avoid the crowds and enjoy a glass of wine with their movie. You can reserve your seats in advance so no standing in a line, and they will even pay for your parking in the downtown theatre underground parking.

I prefer Sundance over any movie theatre in Houston. They provide free parking (reimbursed after you purchase movie tickets), great drinks and food as well as reserved seating so you never have a problem with finding seats.

There always is parking available underground in the huge multi-level garage. And the theater is spacious and very well designed, with easily available areas to dine.

My husband and I only go to Sundance now for movies. I love that you can reserve your seats online. The menu has a great variety ranging from Caesar salad to quesadillas and delicious thin crust pizza. I usually go for the salad but the pizza is excellent. They reimburse garage parking so be use to bring your ticket and... More

Pay a little extra, but pre-reserve a spacious seat on line to guarantee you'll have the view you want. High quality restaurant menu with fine wines available to enjoy in the theater (in real glass wine glasses no less.). Seats are very comfortable and the $10 underground parking fee paid when you enter below the Bayou Center is refunded as... More

Nothing special about this place, no feats no flaws. The bar has an odd selection of beers, and a notable menu board on the wall , with witty cocktail names illustrated with color chalk sketches drawn by hand. I enjoyed my time there, thank it very much.

Sundance Cinema was a great addition to the downtown Houston scene after the Angelica Theater closed but they did not uphold the indie film fervor of the previous tenant. I like the bar and restaurant idea but they fail to marry the two with your cinematic experience as you have to leave the theater to get your food during your... More

Where else can you make a seat reservation print your ticket go to the theatre buy dinner or snacks (including drinks) and take it to you seat. State of the art sound, seating with tables every two seats, AND you get to bypass the boxoffice line.
