While the theater is a very attractive, high class place to view a movie, Sundance comes across as a cheap operation with its "amenity" charge. They advertise one price and when you purchase the ticket, it is $2 more. They should just include the extra charge in the price of the ticket and be done with it. I have visited... More

Great location, great taste in movies, great bar drinks. Food was okay, but you can take it into the movie. Got to meet Robert Redford there.

So I have mixed feelings about Sundance. I really liked the idea behind Angelika (the former inhabitants of the space) and used to go regularly. I was excited to see that Sundance was taking over the closed down space. I actually go to Sundance quite regularly because it is downtown and I can walk to it. The theater overall is... More

this used to be angelica movie theater, which was an old & unattended theater, that they finally remodeled it to become the Sun dance. This theater might be overpriced as some people say, but It is absolutely worth it. This place is very clean from the inside with polished crowds away from those teenagers & punk people u see in... The crowd here is older and rarely do we see kids. They have good food items, full bar, specialty coffee and the regular movie theatre concession items. Parking is reimbursed from the theatre district parking garage. We love this place.

Pros: -you can reserve your seat - you can order food and wine and have it while watching the movie - cine art movies Cons: - it is always packed, which makes lines to order food and drinks waaay too long. - they don't bring you the food to inside the theater (like movie grill does). So, you need to... More

Love this cinema. Great location, with heaps of parking. Intelligent and varied films on offer. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area - and best of all, I can enjoy a bottle of wine in my seat!!

We have friends who swear by this theater because the price isn't crazy and you can eat your meal while you watch the movies. Unfortunately, the only time we went, parking was a mess. There must've been something going on at the opera because it took 20 minutes to drive one block to where the parking garage is located (the... More
