This place is great. Super cool/interesting wall art, not to mention a nice large space. Although I didn't have any alcoholic beverages I saw some folks at another table enjoying some very nice looking matinis! There is ample street parking as well as a lot nearby, but the lot was full. They have a nice little shop in the back... More

HOB offers a nice spot in the middle of Houston for the avid concert goer. While you may pay a little more for a ticket opposed to a larger venue, HOB hits it on the head with getting you right in the action. Expect some long lines (jumbled standing) for drinks but if you're there to see one of your... More

The House of Blues was a venue for a concert and they were very organized, had cocktail personnel on the floor to take care of guests. Their security people handled a situation quietly without interrupting the band. Very professional and we'll set up.

The Houston House of Blues is a good venue, with good acoustics and good sight lines in the balcony. Unfortunately, we picked Todd Rundgren for our initial trip there, and his concert was a huge disappointment. The elevator operator told us not to expect him to do any of his hits. What do these aging rockers think made them quasi-famous... More

This venue is small, but man you cannot beat it. I love this place, you can see the stage from anywhere in the place, but it is so convienant to walk a few steps to the bathroom The drinks are high, yes but most music venues are, plus you can get great pics of your concert! Can't wait to go... More

Great place to see a concert. I waited an hour outside til the doors opened, waited another hour til the concert started, the Mavericks played for over 2 hrs. I was right by the stage. All was fantastic.

I dropped in here by myself for a quick meal in December '14. Nothing spectacular but it did everything I needed - food was good, beer was good and service was quick. Ok, the live music was a bit dodgy but that's fine.

We had a relly nice evening Wednesday night. Good, reasonably priced food, with friendly service. Excllent live music and good atmosphere. We then had the added bonus of going to a conert upstairs of The Wailers of Bob Marley fame, which was brilliant! We have tickets to see Buddy Guy on Saturday. Would highly recommend a visit.

This place is one of the best in town for concerts. The staff is usually friendly and bring some of the biggest acts around! I've been here numerous times as a fan and once as a performer. Awesome stage lighting and sound. A few draw backs are ticket prices tend to be more at times for certain Concerts ($75+) and... More
