Nothing special to this place. Your typical shopping area, with ,ice needed upgrade. Hopefully, sooner than later.

If you need to choose between the Galleria and Rice Village, go to Rice Village if the weather is tolerable. Very safe feeling neighborhood. Lots of terrific stores, one-of-a-kind items. Great values! Nice cafés and patio areas to enjoy the sights and sounds and take a break. Lots of common mall shops, too. Highly recommend!

The shopping leaves a lot to be desired, as there really isn't a lot here. However we visited a few of the bars in the area, notably 55, which we really enjoyed. Nice for a wander.

Some okay stores, but we were expecting more. Pretty much like a standard, not very large, mall. There were some boutiques, but these were mostly for younger, slimmer women.

This district had it all, shopping, good restaurants, bars and lounges. We did some good shipping had dinner with friends and then bar hoping. It lively all the time and you can get parking validated.

Yes, there are chain stores. But there are cool independent ones as well. Nothing better on a nice Houston fall day but to park and walk around and see the Rice U and museum area later. Right off 59. Shopping is shopping but this is a nice area to visit. About 5 by 4 blocks to walk. Check out the... More

This little village of shops and restaraunts is a nice blend of chain stores and small privately owned stores. There are multiple options for food.

I was disappointed in the Rice Village Shops. I was led to believe they were trendy and unique. That's not what we found. The main area was all the same stores you find in any mall (Ann Taylor, Claire's, etc.). Some of the outer stores were more boutique-like, but those were upscale clothes. Nothing unique or trendy to me.

The Rice Village has lots of shops from small boutiques to stores like Banana Republic, Gap, Urban Outfitters, etc. What I like most of all are all the great places to eat around the Village. Parking is tight on the street and in the parking lots, but there is a garage you can park in and get your ticket validated... More

Parking tends to be tight and limited but if you like boutique shopping and nice food, it's worth the effort of finding a space. There is a great variety of places to shop including a nice Native American jewelry store, a great rustic furniture store, a few hair salons and an incredible watch shop that handles high end time pieces...
