We always enjoy the traveling exhibits as they get some of the best in the world. Make time to eat at Cafe Express in the basement for lunch! The permanent displays are excellent as well. We have a family membership so we don't have to worry about seeing everything all in one day. More

A visit to Houston and this museum and the whole entire area around it are simply amazing. This is truly the best museum district in the South or Southwest. And this is one of the top museums in the country. More

Simply put: easy to get to, good parking, reasonable prices, and wonderful art - all equal an entertaining afternoon. We go to the museum about every 6 weeks or so in order to view the regular exhibits but they also bring in many special exhibits so check the website for details. We enjoy just walking around to see what is... More

I have visited the Houston MFA on several occasions. The exhibits are always interesting. Usually I visit to see Special Exhibitions, but also enjoy the permanent galleries. More
