I would come here for certain events. Big and clean facility. Parking can be a hassle, though. I usually park in the Hilton Hotel parking garage. I had a bad experience parking in one of the remote parking lots and almost got mugged!

The George R. Brown Convention Center is spacious, clean, easily connected to nearby hotels and easy to get to from Houston Hobby Airport. The facility was immaculate and spotless and the staff was very friendly and helpful. That, the comment made by another reviewer is valid. The numbering system is confusing and it is not always clear where to go... More

This is a fine convention center. Apparently the designers were going for the feel of a ship, but all I got from it was hockey rink. There are multiple large exhibition halls that are flexible for many types of events. The built-in signage is kind of confusing, but truthfully, it's on your event's planner to put up signs getting you... More

This was a great location for this conference. The conference was one of the most accessible I have attended with lots of space, power for charging, and it has a very modern, eye appealing design.

The architect who designed this monstrosity was either trying to drive its users mad, or had experience only in prison design. The blocks are weirdly numbered, so that the Aisle that says it will take you to 341 will actually take you to part of 342. The signage is so bad that I was afraid when I went to the... More

Large, easy to get around. Very clean. Plenty of restrooms. I have been here for many different conventions and am always pleased.

Attended a Bridal Extravaganza this weekend. The building is great and clean but several escalators were shut down. Large posters should be on each level of where the events are located when more than one is occurring!! Bathrooms were plentiful and seemed very clean. My only real complaint is the horrible food choices! We wound up eating nachos with stale... More

The George R. Brown pretty much can host any event! Even though it's a convention center, I've been and/or hosted everything from weddings, bridal shows, and even feeding the homeless here. Great space very versatile. So much meeting space and the staff is great too. The only bad thing is that sometimes the food outlets close early for conventions but... More

Was there with the family for the quilt show. Easy to get in and out. Close to many hotels. Plenty of parking around, parking can be expensive. Close to freeways. Not to many places to eat inside. Starbucks gets really crowded. Plenty of places to sit.

I visited the exhibition centre for this years quilt show, as a Londoner, my first impression was slightly intimidating but what a great facility this place is. I have previously been to the quilt show at Lancaster - but this show is the greatest of them all. I really enjoyed my two days there. Very good facilities, rest areas and... More
