The few events I've been to here were small and required a long walk to get to. I feel like the convention center is extremely oversized for the events it hosts, and yet is still under construction and being added on to. I suspect the city wants to make this a destination for larger events, but it needs to attract... More

Its a Huge convention center and the last one I attended, there was a Gun show. You can see lots of exhibitions on firearms and ammunitions and the place could cater to a HUGE crowd

From Gun shows to Christmas displays and shopping it all fits. Prepare to walk a lot at larger events. I have been to the Shell bio-cars event, hunting shows the NRA convention and the Houston Marathon and they all are so much better here than in other cities. Their even is a police station at this location. Its safe and... More

Located on the outside of downtown and near Toyota Center, Minute Maid Park, Discovery Green Park, and downtown hotels, this convention center is in a great location. The center consists of multiple halls, so it is sometimes confusing how to get from one all to another. With construction and all, it is sometimes necessary to go outside and back in... More

The food vendors are horrible!!!! Eat before you leave home or after you leave. The food vendors do not offer any level of service or concessions for choice. I asked for a pickle with chicken strips and fries, offered to pay for it and was told no. You could buy half sandwich and soup but not two different halves of... More

HUGE meeting facility in downtown Houston. Well laid out and say to navigate. Lots of escalators and elevators. Sky walks to both the garage and the Hilton Americas hotel. GREAT for avoiding that Texas heat. Well appointed: FedEX on the 2nd floor, Fast food kiosks throughout and Cafe' area on the 3rd floor featuring sandwiches, soups, salad bar and desserts.... More

Was at this location for a convention and loved it! It was one of the best convention centers I've visited thus far. It is equipped with a Starbucks, Chik Fila and other eateries. Although it was BLAZING HOT in Houston, the convention center was extremely cold!

There was nothing extraordinary about the George R. Brown Convention Center. Its two-level bridge to the Hilton Hotel allows convenient transitions between the to structures. The construction in downtown Houston made it somewhat hazardous to walk between the convention center, Discovery Green, and the light rail. When the improvements are complete, this may be a more pleasant space for conventions... More

I enjoyed my visit to the GRBCCenter. This venue's size easily accommodated the 13,000 in attendance
