Great place for a picnic, people watch, let the kids run around, and get a little exercise. The 3 miles is an easy walk. more

Were there on a Sunday morning - the place was packed! All kinds of walkers and runners, but it didn't FEEL as crowded as it was. Lots of dogs walking and running with their people - great place! Great trail - this park is huge, so you feel like you're "running away from it all", even I-10 is just through... more

If you are a runner and don't consider cement to be a suitable running surface, then Memorial Park is a great 3 mile run while visiting Houston. I was staying in the suburbs and drove 25 miles one way just to run this track every day. The energy of the people in the park is fantastic and the path is... more
