I have been there in April for trip business. I really don't like this kind of mall, too much expensive stores, poor variety and small stores. In my opinion the best things to do is eat in Cheesecake Factory, one of the best restaurants of Houston.

We have been to Houston two other times and always visit the Galleria. I remember our first visit when I thought this was a beautiful upscale mall. It wasn't terribly crowded and the stores were above average. I'm afraid to say that it's now past its prime and has become a low class hangout for whoever doesn't have anything else... More

First, the Galleria area is a high class neighborhood. The mall prices and stores in the mall reflect the neighborhood. If you are there to browse, chat and eat then this is a great place. The best time of the year to go is after Thanksgiving and Xmas time. There is a icerink on the bottom floor. There are also... More

Lots of diverse boutique shops for the higher wage earner. Beautiful setting, skating rink is a joy to watch. Restaurants and food court offer excellent dining opportunities from mid-range and up prices. Wear comfortable shoes, the place is big. There really is something for everyone - including for kids: ice skating, Disney store, build a bear, etc. During the holidays,... More

The Galleria has become the "center" of town both for shopping and surrounding restaurants. There are hundreds of stores from very high to moderate - men, women, children, teens. 2 hotels inside plus food and ice skating. Other shopping areas across the street. When there is a convention or sports event in Houston, it is packed with people of all... More

This is a lovely indoor mall but watch out on the weekends parking is a nightmare. I spent 45 minutes trying to get out of the parking garage at 3pm on a Saturday.

This Mall is huge. I'm not a frequent "mall goer", because I'm not the biggest fan of big closed places packed with people. But the Galleria is a nice place for shopping and has every store you need ! I always get lost when I go though. Plan on staying there for a couple hours, it's not a "hit and... More

Head on over to the Galleria if you have money to burn or are in the top 5%! Though not all the stores are High-End, the prices reflect the amount of rent they obviously must pay for a coveted store in the mall. The mall is huge, so wear comfortable shoes! They have a multitude of places to eat and... More

Great shopping experience. All the major brand stores in one place. Loads of good restaurants (not just chains) and a full ice rink if you want to skate.
