As soon as you enter this bar, you feel like you've gone back in time. It is the oldest bar in Houston; romantically dark and candle-lit. There is a beautiful old cash register and candelabras that have accumulated years worth of wax. This is a cash-only establishment. I heard that Sam Houston actually slept in the doorway. more
