The Theature Under the Stars is a beautiful venue for live theatre and concerts. The Hobby Center offers theatre/concert patrons multiple stage options for enjoying a variety of world-class entertainment. The only issue I've experienced at TUTS is the problematic sight lines and distance from the stage when sitting in the Gallery seating in the Serafim theatre/stage. If at all... More

We have seen several shows by the TUTS group, and they are fun & entertaining from start to finish! The Hobby Center is a great venue to watch performances, with a large lobby upstairs for cocktails and a buffet dinner before the show if you choose. There is also a restaurant (Artista), but it is typically packed, so if you... More

TUTS does an excellent job of transforming theater attendees to another time and place. Our experience at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts has been magical every time. The Christmas Story was the latest gem. There was not a single word of complaint from any in our group of 11 (ages 18-76).

The play was wonderful and we enjoyed ourselves. Towards the end of the show it was starting to get a little warm and my wife was ready to go. The view from our seats were great and everyone was helpful. I am planning to take in a few more different shows this coming year. Parking was very easy and close... More

There is one price for the "tickets" then another "fee" to buy the tickets and then another fee to take delivery of the tickets.

Hobby Center is the home of musicals as they tour through Houston. We have had a season subscription for the last ten years. Houston has the luxury of seeing all the "shows" without traveling to New York. There is a restaurant Artista that serves a pleasant meal and cocktails - they always ensure we get to the show on time.... More

And a Houston family tradition. You can pick up up to 10 tickets and the whole family including Grandma and Grandpa can go. There is also lawn seating -really under the stars. And the productions are Broadway quality real actors, singers or musicians. We have been to Little Shop of horrors, The Westside Story and the Led Zeppelin cover band.... More

We enjoy the shows we have seen at the Hobby Center including, but not limited to, The Lion King, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cats, and look forward to more. What a delight for date night or family time. Truly a gift of the arts is a wonderful present. Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) is a treasure with many... More

We have seen several shows there, and the theatre is nice and not too big! Great venues! We will be attending several shows this year, as well!

What a wonderful place. We took our children to see "Matilda" the musical. what a great experience. As soon as you walk through the door, you are greeted by volunteer staff that want to make your experience the best it can be. Refreshment were reasonable. entering the theatre there doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house.... We... More
