It's so cool to see all the famous musicians who have graced the stage of Gruene Hall, so take time to look at all the autographed photos. Beer is cold, dance floor is packed, and you'll have a great time. Bring cash, but if you forget, an ATM is just across the street :-)

Wasnt there while dance was happening but it is still worth a peak into the bar/dance hall. Its great just to see the authenticity of the place.

We went on Friday afternoon & got to hear the New Braunfel's radio station broadcasting live from the front bar. It was a hot and humid day--- but the beer was COLD & cheap. Were planning to see Delbert McClinton the next night but show was sold out. If you love Americana music you have to at least stop by... More

I've lived in Texas about 35 years now. 34 years ago I went to see a band at Gruene Hall. The place hasn't changed a bit. It's the same place it always has been. We were able to see Delbert McClinton this past Saturday and it's just a great time. If you want to really get a feel for South... More

I am not a big country music fan but this place rocks. I loved it. The atmosphere is just perfect. We went on a Wednesday night (by chance-no cover charge!) and The Georges were playing. They lit up the place for an hour. Jammed out! My wife and I don't dance very much so we just watched the others and... More

Visit the Gruene hall. Our favorite spot in Texas! If you love live music this is the place. Free music almost every day. Sometimes concerts with cover. Nice relaxed athmosphere. Gogogo!

Went to Gruene Hall last night. Music by Grouchy like Riley. Music was greatly varied. Would have liked more Country but was able to dance to many songs.
