We love to have a cold one and listen to the bands. Sometimes very packed! Get there early! Buy tickets for bands way in advance. If sold out you can sit outside and hear the bands.

My great-grandfather built Gruene Hall, as well as some other famous Texas dance halls, so maybe that is why places like this hold a special place in my heart. I have been coming here since I was a kid, and even while the town of Gruene has been growing and changing around it, the dance hall, itself, is pretty much... More

Every third week-end they have vendors from all over come in with items not easily found. Saturday afternoons free music from known and unknown groups. Great place to take a break, have a beer or two and right next door to The Grist Mill Restaurant.

Gruene Hall (pronounced "Green") is in Gruene, TX which is on the north side of New Braunfels. In addition to the dance hall, there are neat restaurants, antique stores and other specialty shops near the hall. The dance hall is very old and not much to look at but a fun place to hear some a band and do a... More

This is a place that has hosted many big name entertainers. It is loads of fun if you are up for the Texas beer hall entertainment scene. Very rustic, very authentic old style Texas. A fun stop in Gruene!

Great Time! Good music and dancing. We saw a good performance plus it felt like we were mixing with the locals in a very genuine setting.

We went to Gruene Hall to see Roger Creager on March 15. The concert was awesome. The venue was awesome. The beer was cold, the women were hot and the joint was rockin'! We drove 8 hrs for a 4 day mini vacation. The stop at Gruene Hall was the best on the trip. We will go back as many... More
