Since our vacation was already packed with things to do, we didn't get to fit in a night to check out the nightly entertainment. It would have been nice. Maybe next time. We just toured the place and got a few pictures. It was cool to see some history. I enjoyed my short but sweet visit here. More

This event was absolutely fabulous from start to finish! Jerry Jeff started playing at 7 and finished at 9....no opening act, no break. It was so much fun! We all sang along and danced by our chairs! More

Go to Gruene if you are visiting San Antonio or the surrounding area. I was told part of John Travolta's movie, "Michael" was filmed here. Lots of quaint shops and make sure you have lunch at the Gristmill. More

Had an awesome time here, listening to a great Texas Country band, drinking a Lone Star beer, and just enjoying the atmosphere of the "oldest dance hall in Texas". Bring cash! Not upscale... But you haven't experienced Texas until you've been to Gruene Hall. More
