All I can say is that it is extremly expensive for the stay and then you have to pay extra for almost everything except the water park. The grandkids loved it and the staff was amazing with them. The restaurant was good, but expensive as well. The kids loved the little scavenger hunt thing, but you have to pay extra... More

Our family and friends have gone a total of 2 times so far and really have enjoyed a small break from winter (even though DFW winters are not that bad). We only stayed one night each time and live local so we could take advantage of both days of water park use to get our fix of fun. A bit... More

This place is a fabulous frenzy - a unique and fun adventure for the entire family. But don't even think about bringing a handful of small children on your own! We had 3 adults and 2 little girls and still ran ourselves ragged keeping up with them in the crowds. The water park is well staffed and feels safe, but... More

My family of 4, 2 adults/2 children ages 8 and 11. Stayed 2 nights. It was 2 nights too many. It was very expensive for the what we experienced. Almost $700 for 2 nights in a basic queen/sleeper/mini kitchen and "complimentary passes" to the waterpark. The bed was very uncomfortable. There were 3 sets of towels in the room for... More

Indoor waterpark, funfilled night avtivity adventure for my boys, and relaxation with great family. I cant say more other than it is a great place to indulge your family. When we arrived, I had a Spa day waiting for my wife. She freaked out. Their is are aeveral places to eat, an arcade, water park for inside and outside adventures.

Our experience at GWL was very average. We felt it was overpriced. The room was a regular-looking hotel room with a plastic cabin-like space with 2 bunk beds. It was cute and the kids liked it. The room was was clean, beds and pillows great. We went on a Saturday and it was very crowded. The indoor water park itself... More

The waterpark was the highlight of the GWL and we spent most of our time here. There's quite a lot to do for all ages yet the older kids will get tired of climbing the stairs and riding the same 5 rides all day. Younger kids have a lot of choices and will spend more time in the lazy river... More

Apparently this is quite a popular destination for families judging by the numbers. The check in process is quite straightforward only that there aren't keys issued for the room, instead everyone gets a wristband with an e-chip to unlock the doors. The wristband also serves as the entrance to the waterpark which is kinder cool. The elevators are supercrowded and... More
