Well run resort, ideal for little kids on a winter staycation. The water facilities are safe and lots of fun. Rooms are quite good, parking is free. Service is good. The facility depends on mass entertainment though and this is a big place with large number of guests. Buffett is okay, Gaylord next door has nice lunch buffets and kids... More

This place is pretty magical. From the waterparks to the Magic Quest game to the hidden interactive character the kids can activate with their wands. If you live in DFW and need a family friendly place to take a break - then go to Great Wolf Lodge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit!! It was a magical time for the kids as Santa lit the huge Christmas tree in the lobby. We've decided one night is not enough. Too rushed to try to see and do everything available. I read previous comments about rude staff. I never encountered any staff that wasn't exceptionally nice. People who think it's too... More

We visited GWL Grapevine, TX for Thanksgiving and had a really good family vacation. We enjoyed the water park Which is included in the room price - amazing because entrance fees to such a park would be expensive I'm guessing. The 5 "big kid" indoor slides were really good - thrilling enough for our almost-12 year old thrill seeker. The... More

First time here and we will be back. We did have some minor problems throughout our stay but management made sure any problem was taken care of immediately. Thank you Lucy and Andrew! (Room problem) The employees were amazing and extremely caring the whole time here. Excellent and expensive food, just wish they had room service here. (! Helpful hint... More

We had the run of the place on a Tuesday in November. Lots of lifeguards on duty to help me feel my kid was safe. There aren't a ton of ride options, but pretty impressive since it was all indoors.

A little pricey but fun for the whole family. We checked in at 11 and left our bags on the car, played in the waterpark till it closed. The next morning we packed our bags and put them in the car with just a change of cloths in our bags and played all day again in the waterpark. The food... More

All I can say is that it is extremly expensive for the stay and then you have to pay extra for almost everything except the water park. The grandkids loved it and the staff was amazing with them. The restaurant was good, but expensive as well. The kids loved the little scavenger hunt thing, but you have to pay extra... More

Our family and friends have gone a total of 2 times so far and really have enjoyed a small break from winter (even though DFW winters are not that bad). We only stayed one night each time and live local so we could take advantage of both days of water park use to get our fix of fun. A bit... More

This place is a fabulous frenzy - a unique and fun adventure for the entire family. But don't even think about bringing a handful of small children on your own! We had 3 adults and 2 little girls and still ran ourselves ragged keeping up with them in the crowds. The water park is well staffed and feels safe, but... More
