The art pieces are incredible. I was so nervous to be around them, as they cost a LOT. There is no way I would even bring my teenagers here, I'd be so worried they might break something! Watching the craftsman blow the glass was very interesting, but it was incredibly hot. I wish I could afford some of the art... More

I love art glass. I have visited over 17 studios and some in Venice. This place is very cool because they are all into what they do and they have some very original pieces. I especially liked the "sale" in the viewing room. I happened upon the back of the building and started speaking with one of the glass blowers... More

Brought the family to see some cool art in the making. Found out that we could participate in making pieces with the artists for a fee. We luckily got in on the last few spots, but we didn't know this was even an option until we got there and saw other people doing it. They didn't give a choice as... More

We arrived for the afternoon session and saw several workers involved in making a few pieces (usually one at a time, but some pieces required more than one worker). There wasn't really any interaction between the workers (even those who weren't actively working) and the audience. I would've liked to hear some explanation of what was happening or what the... Went here during the holiday season and saw people making their own custom Christmas ornaments! What a wonderful experience! There are risers across from the artists and you are always welcome to watch them creating true glass masterpieces. The prices are family friendly and the staff are so extremely nice and informative. You get an education in the process!

Vetro has been at the Old Depot train area in Grapevine for a long time. It is a must see when visiting Grapevine. You can watch the artisans make the beautiful glass or purchase some already made. It is a very fine arts studio.

I was fortunate enough to visit Vetro when they were offering a make your own hand blown glass ornament event. The artists do the hard part and you assist with a bit of hands on. It was, however, one of my favorite things in Grapevine. I picked my colors (blue, green & white like the sea), and had hands-on for... More
