Cute Square, but its just silly how the stores close at 5pm and they have festivals which close at that time as well. When it's hot in the summer and the weather starts to cool down at night, they decide to shut everything down. Just bad planning! So much potential and it's just sad that it's all going to waste.

I came to the Historic Town Square in Granbury during Spring Break 2013. It was my first visit and I wasn't sure what to expect. It is a beautiful town square and the Court House is lovely. The shops are fun to browse but there was a lot of empty real estate. I guess the economy has hit hard in... More

This is a favorite place to come and wander through the antique shops and walk the square. It is always so clean here and we enjoy the local restaurants. I was disappointed that durning Spring Break so many restaurants were closed, but it forced us to visit other places we might not have tried. Shop owners are always so friendly... More

I cannot wait to return to all the neat little stores in Town Square! Beautiful small town atmosphere! Everyone is so nice and the finds are great!

This was a disappointment. The shops were over priced and the items were to trendy. Granbury is known for its' country atmosphere, not this foo-foo stuff.

I cant tell you how amazing this hotel view was all the rear side rooms have a lake view to die for! This exceeded my expectations being located in a smaller town south west of fort worth we went there just to get away for a little bit! This hotel made use feel like we were a million miles away... The Courthouse was open late for tours and we found that very interesting. Also, the Christmas light display is beautiful and well worth the visit.

Granbury has the right ingredients for the whole family. This quaint little western town has ice cream shops, toy shop, upscale women's clothing shops, opera house, kithen store, home stores, and enough western flavor to make even the John Wayne fan reminisce while enjoying a great chicken dinner at the Babe's restaurant just off the square... or even a fine... The courthouse in the center of Town Square is beautiful. There were several places to get some snacks / meals. My favorite were the shops. The shop owners / workers were all so friendly! A few of the shops were 'booths' so there are a number of people selling inside that shop; so selection and prices vary widely. Overall, I... More
