If possible, Granbury should get an award for being a top town square!

Loved this charming town square. The little shops are fun to explore and have some nice wares, not junk. Plenty of places to eat, from BBQ to upscale. We were there for the town Memorial Day weekend fair and car show. Check out their scheduled town fairs.

Between sitting around chatting about our families and eating we would pay visits to the lovely town square with the beautiful Court House sitting in the square center. Everyone was very friendly including the many drivers cruising around the square or headed for an appointment. Our husbands took advantage of the many benches outside the shops which allowed us to... Always enjoy taking out of town guests to the town square. There's something for everybody to enjoy. Wish there was an ice cream shop on the square.

Granbury square is a very nice, laid back place to spend an afternoon on/in. There are plenty of small shops for the ladies and lots of places to catch a bite to eat. Plus there's a lot of history in and around the square. Also, there are a lot of fun weekend activities to partake of.

The square is very well-kept. I love the old courthouse and the young energetic vibe of the place. Sometimes these older towns with historic squares lose that vibe but Granbury seems to be doing a good job of keeping businesses on the square that bring in lots of people during the week as well as on the weekends. I had... More

Excellent courthouse and jail (museum) to visit! The square is well-developed with a variety of businesses. Great waterfront hotels, too.

The wine walk is a great event to attend. Lots of wine vendors, food vendors and miscellaneous vendors. Friday evening was not real crowded, but Saturday was packed. But, it was still fun.

A lot of the original buildings from the 1880's still exist in this quaint town square. It has one of the outstanding county courthouses in Texas, built in 1890-1891 of Brazos limestone in the Second Empire style. Most of the buildings on the square are circa 1880-1890. If you are interested in architecture and history, you can spend an entire... More

Almost all buildings have a historical significance. Great antique shops. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
