The town square is just that. Nothing special, but it is revitalized. Ive been coming here for over 30 years and seen change. Shops and eateries cone and go, but the town lives on. Don't go looking for the 1800s here, but enjoy some quaint shops and things. Best to hang out in the fall and spring.

The shops were an eclectic mix of fun little things. We had ice cream on the sidewalk. Just a good little walk around a nice little town.

Visited Granbury today in hopes of enjoying the quaint historic character of the downtown square. The square was neither quaint nor historic -- unless ladies' clothing boutiques somehow fall into that category -- because that is virtually all we saw. Most of the eateries were closed as well. All in all, it was pretty much a wasted day. Maybe we... More

I live here so I love it here. I only shop in Granbury, rather than shop at the Ft. Worth Mall. There are unique shops, wonderful furniture and decor shops and great gift shopping. I love going to the wide variety of restaurants for lunch, brunch and dinner. Don't miss a visit to Granbury. Better yet, it's a great place... More

We had 24hrs to get away from Dallas and were thrilled to find Granbury, TX. We stayed and spent most of our time in the Square and loved every second of it. Wine tastings, music, ghosts, great food and fantastic art dealers.

As far as quaint, downtown areas go, this was as good as any. There's a variety of novelty shopping and eateries. Much of the shopping is touristy and overpriced, but I made some good finds, including lovely painting from a local artist. There were a lot of funky women's clothes, and, after awhile, the shops started to look the same.... More

My daughters and I spent a couple of days in Granbury and the old town square was our favorite! We spent one day starting with lunch on the square, then all afternoon going around the square checking out each and every unique shop & boutique! We were so very pleasantly surprised at the very reasonable prices! No price gouging here... More

We always like to visit a town square and Granbury town square is exceptional! The square is surrounded by varieties of restaurants, quaint shops, and other businesses. We visited a couple of stores and loved the quaintness atmosphere. The day we were in Granbury, there was a concert going on in the square. The town was livelier than ever. A... More

Granbury is worth the trip and only about an hour away from Dallas metro-plex. The town square offers cute shops with interesting one-of-a-kind artifacts that are reasonably priced. There are also sites to see in and around the square. Stop in at the Visitor's Center which has all sorts of information on B&B's, restaurants and things to do and see.... More
