My daughters and I spent a couple of days in Granbury and the old town square was our favorite! We spent one day starting with lunch on the square, then all afternoon going around the square checking out each and every unique shop & boutique! We were so very pleasantly surprised at the very reasonable prices! No price gouging here... More

We always like to visit a town square and Granbury town square is exceptional! The square is surrounded by varieties of restaurants, quaint shops, and other businesses. We visited a couple of stores and loved the quaintness atmosphere. The day we were in Granbury, there was a concert going on in the square. The town was livelier than ever. A... More

Granbury is worth the trip and only about an hour away from Dallas metro-plex. The town square offers cute shops with interesting one-of-a-kind artifacts that are reasonably priced. There are also sites to see in and around the square. Stop in at the Visitor's Center which has all sorts of information on B&B's, restaurants and things to do and see.... More

This square is easy to get around and has a pretty good number of interesting shops and places to eat. We were early enough to get a parking spot at the courthouse, which is in the middle of the square. (And I guess it was OK to park there because it was Saturday--others were doing it, so we did too.)... More

Historical area filled with a variety of shops and places to eat. There are plates on the building that describe the history of the building and the area. There are a few statues and a bell tower. There is also a visitors center that has a restroom for public use and tons of literature. The literature is not only info... More

We go here for their 4th of July parade. I call this place Hometown America Texas. Their 4th of July events are outstanding. The local merchants surrounding the square have everything you can think of, Antiques, restaurants, clothes.. it's a wonderful place to visit and stroll around this quaint wonderful village.

Cute and quaint downtown area. Once you've gone into all the shops, there really isn't much else to do.

I love the ambience of the original buildings and the choice of stores. But, be warned, if you are a smoker as I am, you are not allowed to smoke anywhere in the square. Take your e-cig or park close enough that if you really feel the need for a cigarette you can go back to your car.
