My wife and her girlfriend were shopping and I was able to find a quiet bench to rest and relax on to watch the people go by. My most entertaining thing to do is people watch

What a. Great example of an old town square. Lots of shops that are open and thriving. The wine stop was very good. The stores are quaint and the cooking supply house had some great local spices.

Granbury town square is the quaint historic heart of this small town about an hour or so south west of Fort Worth. We stumbled across it when driving out of Fort Worth on Highway 377 and we thought we'd park up and have a walk around. The town hall is the centre of the square and to us Brits, is... More

Charming and unique resturants and boutiques...love the courthouse...history to be found all around. Great way to spend a couple of days or an entire week. I love the area!! People are friendly, town is clean and it is close to other areas of interest.

Sounds impossible, but it took 3 women 2 days to "do" the Granbury Square. Admittedly history majors, we spent our first day doing 2 sides of the square and the second day working our way through the other 2 sides. Of course, we had Grand Marnier soufflé w/ chocolate sauce for lunch one day and the other day we added... More

We visited downtown Granbury during the 4th of July festival. It was very busy for the festival, but we were able to see the charm of the town, even through the crowds. There are lots of cute shops, a fun jail museum (reviewed separately), a beautiful park with great walking paths, and lots of restaurants available.

My daughter told my wife and I that Granbury had a great fireworks display, so she finally convinced us to go. Their entire celebration was wonderful, from the parade to the flea market. However, the best part of the day was their fireworks. For 30 minutes, we enjoyed a continuous stream of lights; not just one, but several at a... More
