Historic Downtown

Almost all buildings have a historical significance. Great antique shops. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

The old town square of Granbury, Tx has something for everyone. The old buildings and beautiful old court house make for a relaxing place to shop, eat and just stroll. A great place to visit.

Vibrant with lots to see and do. Little kletchy shops and enough restaurants serving really good food. Didn't sample the local bars but I'm sure they were there. Great walking square. The weather was fabulous and we Loved the square.

Great historic square with so much to offer. Take the Granbury Ghost and Legend Tour. Lots of history and tales of ghosts. The square has lots of shops and great places to eat and drink. Loved it.

Check out the Wagon Yard because this is probably the best spot, and we got some great goods, including some old LIFE magazines from the 50s. The motorcycles... More

We went around the square and visited several of the shops. I found it nice that they all had different items and not all the same stuff, as some towns tend to do. There is also quite a bit of handmade by locals items. These are the items that I look for and not the stuff made in China. Nice... More

We stayed in Granbury for a few days for a low key Spring Break. What a surprisingly cute little town! Living in Georgetown, Texas I can appreciate a good town square! There are a variety of eclectic stores that offer something for everyone. Check out the Nutt House Hotel and Shoppes and pick up some "vintage candy" or Artefactz for... More
