They have a number of informative handouts for events, dining, historical buildings, shopping, etc. The nice lady gave us a bag containing coupons, maps, and info about the town. It is worth a stop to get information in order not to miss anything, as this town is packed with things to do. They even have "Girl's Night Out" on the... More

Stopped in really just to use the restroom, and was pleasantly surprised with what a great visitor center they had. The restroom was extremely clean (and I'm a germaphobe so you know if I say it's clean it really is!). The lady at the desk was very sweet and asked us about our visit, made some recommendations and told us... More

Tony was terrific, giving us more than what we asked. He was a font of information about almost everything in and around Granbury. Make sure to stop by the information center next to the court house when you're in town.

this is one of the better tourism welcome sites I've visited. the volunteer staff is very pleasant, helpful, and quite knowledgeable. I felt very welcomed here and it's super convenient right off of the square. Public restroom are well attended.

If you want a visitor center role model, this is the best I've seen so far. Friendly, well staffed and lots of take away material. The multipurpose facility also has the local police and meeting space all in one building.

Make this your first stop because they have tons of brochures on area attractions and will be happy to answer any questions you have. Check for discount coupons for the area shops--we could have saved 10% at the Panhandle cooking store (great place, with lots of spices, teas, coffee, soaps, and lotions). Good bathroom stop, too.

The employee in charge knows his stuff! Plenty of local information and pamphlets are available. Make this first stop when coming to town.
