This is a nice place to go for a few hours. The gem mining was fun too. Remember to bring a lunch because there are only vending machines with drinks. Better for families with small children.

Neat walk thru with life size dinosaurs. Seems good for all ages. My husband and I did this to kill a couple hours and it was nice.

We enjoyed the walk, nice paved trail. Grandkids really liked the fossil dig and panning their 5 lb. bag of dirt to find gems, they had a blast. A bit pricey though, but worth it.

I thought from the entrance that this place would be a tourist trap, but I totally loved it! The price was worth it for as much as they had there. It was not only entertaining, but educational. It's an easy paved walk, suitable for strollers, little kids, handicapped, and older people. There is a different surprise at every part of... More

It's mostly for the smaller ones, but even adults and big kids might like the Dino Walk, where there is life size models of the dinosaurs and information about them.

We passed this place (and it's giant t-rex that my daughter named "Rexy") on the way into the state park for some camping. Of course it was all my kids could talk about and we had to carve out a portion of our day of exploring actual dino tracks to go this museum. Well let me say, it was well... More

This venue has lots (100's?) of life size dinosaur models. They are placed around a walk through park in natural settings. Most little boys and girls would like this. The watch out here is the giant gift shop that you must walk through to get to the entrance. Kids will love it, but parents beware...bring some money and patience.

This is so much fun!! We did the Gem strike tour which was worth the extra money. They kids got a little bag full of gem stones they got to sleuth out of a bag of dirt. They loved it. The statues are great and seem to be pretty well life size only some are inaccurate. They have a sand... More

I enjoyed my first visit here. I would not go back. But it is worth at least one visit. My 9 year old enjoyed himself with the life size statues. He really enjoyed the gem hunt.

I thought this would be a sham, but the kids loved it! Their favorite was the sluice box and finding the various "gems". Go to Fossil Rim when they open and then go here afterwards.
